Chapter 94 Undyne the Undying 1

A/N So we are 6 chapters from completion, now I'm not making any promises but my goal, at this moment, is to complete all six chapters next week, if not at least five chapters, that'd be nice lol, on to the story, thanks as always for reading! -Tenjo

Third Person

Sans let Frisk and Chara go ahead of him to take Papyrus back home, the energy exerted by the alternate Papyrus had taken a lot out of him as well, the girls agreed and headed towards waterfall together.

Chara

"Waterfall.. The place of memories, echos, and dreams.." Frisk looked at me, I blushed realizing I'd said that out loud, so embarrassing. I really hoped Frisk wouldn't find the echo flower from THAT night. Taking my mind off of things immediately I walked onto the platforms that lead to hotlands, when I was stopped by a black spear that nearly hit me, Undyne.. No Sans to help this time, it was just me and Frisk.

Frisk

Undyne was above us, I noticed her and thought Chara had too, she looked so much different from her normal self, and instead of green her eye was glowing red, she was already in her undying form, we were gonna have to stop her quickly or she would
become dangerous even for Sans in a very short amount of time..

Third Person

Undyne threw another spear at Chara who backed away this time avoiding the second spear which landed exactly where she was standing earlier, the atmosphere was filled with tension and strangest enough, no static could be heard, there was no music either, just eery silence, the only thing they could hear was the sound of their breathing and their movements, Undyne jumped down landing in front of both Frisk and Chara and grabbed both spears and lunged at them. Chara and Frisk ducked down and rolled away, Chara figuring the only way to beat Undyne was to use strength punched their side as hard as she could, Frisk followed suit, this only seemed to make Undyne angrier as she shouted "You have to hit me harder than that, you pathetic animals!" Undyne turned with her spears, forcing Chara and Frisk to back away or be hit, no volley of spears yet, Frisk and Chara were both thankful for this, they decided the best way to beat Undyne since punching wasn't working, was to run, they turned and ran as fast as they could through the maze, spears rained down above them but Chara and Frisk managed not to get hit, they continued to run finally getting out of the maze and ran across the bridge, Monster Kid wasn't present and they hadn't seen him at all in Waterfall, they stopped dead in their tracks, across the bridge at the end just waiting for them to get there was Undyne. Running hadn't worked, they don't have Sans to help them, and Undyne was moving closer to them, they were running out of time and needed to come up with something quick, then Frisk shouted out "I thought I was your best friend, Undyne!?"
