Johns Bus Later
"Eat it Phil!" I shouted, jumping to my feet and doing a victory dance, waving the controller above my head.
"Damnit Lila. You're a freaking cheater I swear." John groaned, throwing the controller on the table gently.
"Oh don't be a sore loser John. It's not my fault I've got mad skills." I teased, throwing a wink his way.
I continued doing my victory dance around the trailer when I heard a knock on the door before it opened. Lana walked in and I dropped my arms, hoping she didn't see me doing my retarded dance. Putting the controller down I sat at the table as Dolph stood up and walked over to her.
"Who's she?" she asked, looking over his arm at me.
"Lana this is Lila. Remember I told you about my friend Lila from the old days of WWE?" he explained, bringing her towards me.
I stood up, rubbing my slightly sweating palms on my jeans before plastering a slightly nervous smile on my face. "Hey I'm Lila."
"Lana. Dolph has told me so much about you. He talks very highly about you and it's nice to finally be able to meet you." She smiled, taking my hand, instantly putting me at ease.
"It's great to meet you."
Instantly the atmosphere relaxed and everyone was talking and teasing again. I sat at the table, glancing at my bag which had my script in there. I knew I was gonna have to finish reading it so I could be ready for next week. Glancing over at Phil him and John had gotten back into another round of games. Pulling my jacket on I grabbed my bag and leaned over the couch to rest my chin on Phil's shoulder.
"Hey." He murmured, his eyes focused on the screen.
"Hey so I'm gonna head back to the room." I informed him watching his eyes flick back and forth.
He paused the game and turned to look at me, making me lift my chin off his shoulder, "Do you want me to come with you?"
"No stay. I won't be much fun. I've got some reading to do and you look like your enjoying your time with the boys." I smiled, straightening up before flicking John's ear gently.
"Taking off Lila?" he asked, rubbing his earlobe.
I nodded as I walked turned and watched Phil jump over the couch and land in front of me. He dug in his pocket and pulled out the key card, handing it over. I tucked it in my jeans pocket as I slung my bag over my shoulder.
"I don't think I'll be too long. A couple more rounds. You sure you're gonna be ok?" he asked, rubbing the back of his neck.
"I'm going to the hotel room. How much trouble can I get into?" I scoffed, throwing him a look. He dropped his hand and gave me a pointed look and I winced, "Ok good point."
I waved at Dolph and Lana before walking out of the bus and shutting the door behind me. The night air was perfect. Not warm and not cool but just the perfect temperature. The hotel was only a few blocks away and I decided to just walk, despite Phil's worried face floating in my head. Smiling to myself I made my way across the parking lot, and down the road. I was walking down the sidewalk when I heard someone call my name. I stopped and turned, instantly wishing I had kept walking.
"Lila wait!" a deep voice called out and I heard his feet coming closer.
I didn't stop but I slowed down, wishing that I had brought Phil with me. It didn't take him too long to catch up and he was suddenly striding along beside me. I didn't look over, and we walked for a few moments in silence.
