I wrapped my arms around my knees, ignoring the protest of my back. A few minutes later Seth, Dean and Roman walked in, finding me in the same position. My head was resting on my knees and I didn't even bother looking up. I felt a hand on my hair, stroking it gently. Looking up I saw Seth sitting next to me, worry coloring his dark brown eyes.
"Why does every dilemma come down to an impossible choice?" I murmured, chin on my knees, "I can't lose him but I don't want to lose you guys either."
"How do you know you would lose us?" Dean asked, leaning against the window sill.
"Be serious Dean. If I chose Phil you wouldn't cut me out in loyalty to Roman? You're brothers, all of you. And the last thing I would ever want would be to come between you. Which reminds me," I pointed at Dean and Roman both, "Enough arguing. I wasn't very nice to Dean the last few months and I don't blame him for hating me. Now no more fighting."
Dean glanced over at Roman who was staring back. Dean pushed off the window sill coming to stand near the bed. He held out his hand for Roman which he took. They shook and shared a smile before he returned to his perch. I took the time I slip off the bed and grab my bag, going into the bathroom. Opening the bag I pulled out a pair of dark blue flared jeans and a over the shoulder baby blue top. My pea coat was folded in the bottom and underwear sitting under that. Ripping everything off I got dressed, opting for a shower later at the hotel. Getting dressed was a bit of a struggle but once I was dressed I felt more like me. Slinging my jacket over my arm I opened the door and walked out, three sets of eyes finding mine.
"Thanks again Seth. I feel a lot better getting out of that stupid gown." I grinned, setting everything down on the bed.
"Ya no problem. When are you getting out?" he responded.
The door opened and the doctor walked in, giving a friendly smile to everyone in the room. I sat on the bed, legs dangling over the side and he came to stand in front of me, grabbing the clipboard from the end of my bed.
"Well you're up and about so that's good. I'm surprised with the amount of bruising you had." He commented, flipping pages, "What happened again?"
"Thrown through a table. After being hit multiple times with a steel chair." I gave him a smiled, watching his eyebrows fly up, "I'm a professional wrestler."
"Ah makes sense. Well let's take a quick look here and see if we can get you out of here..."he started.
"Lila. I go by Lila." I cut him off before he used my real name.
"Oh OK Lila. Let's see how you're doin."
I stood up and pulled my shirt over my head, holding it to my chest. Pulling my hair to the side I felt him press against my back, still hurting even though he was gentle. I didn't flinch as he quickly finished his examination. Slipping my shirt back on I turned and faced him.
"Well it seems as though you have a good range of motion so healing should be quicker than we thought. A nurse will be in for you to sign some stuff and then you should be free to go." He commented, smiling as he walked out.
"Thank God." I murmured, grabbing the shoes Seth had brought shoving my feet them.
"SO what are you going to do now?" Roman asked, sitting on the bed again, leg propped up on it.
"I don't know. I'll take it easy for a while. Let my back heal and then get back to work. I have a lot to think about for the next week, including what I'm going to do about goddamn Corporate Kane." I growled, instantly feeling the anger rise.
