Night Time
I said goodnight to Nikki and John as I walked across the lot, heading back to my bus. We had all pulled over for the night, drivers needing rest before we continued on in the morning. I was exhausted and ready to sleep off the last bit of my hangover but apprehensive about seeing Dean after everything I had found out about him. I still wasn't sure about how I felt about seeing him on the complete brink of insanity but I was part of the team now. Opening the door I walked in, only seeing Seth sitting on the couch. His head jerked immediately to me, relief filling his features when he saw it was me.
"I was getting worried you weren't coming back tonight." He commented, leaning an arm over the back of the couch, "Are you ok?"
"Where's Roman and Dean?" I asked, ignoring his question.
"Dean took off right when we stopped so Roman went to watch him and make sure he didn't do anything stupid." Seth frowned and I winced, throwing my jacket and bag on the table.
"So he's still angry than?" I sighed, sitting on the other side of the couch.
"I think he's more worried. You didn't come back when we stopped so I think maybe he thought he scared you off." Seth shook his head, legs stretched out on the coffee table.
"He did Seth. He really did." I admitted, seeing him turn his head to look at me.
"He just gets angry." Seth shrugged, eyes focused on me.
"Like Jon Moxley angry?" I raised an eyebrow, seeing his eyes widen.
The eyes were all I needed to know that Seth knew about Dean before WWE. Shaking my head I stood up, grabbing a beer from the fridge. Ignoring the hangover I popped the top, taking a deep pull before leaning against the counter. Seth got up from the couch, coming to stand in front of me. Taking the beer he set it on the counter, crossing his arms over his chest.
"You're just gonna make yourself more sick. Look Lila, who he was before isn't who he is now you know?" Seth sighed, looking down at me.
"Oh so who he was this morning wasn't a complete and utter meltdown into Moxley?" I raised an eyebrow, copying his arm cross.
"Would you have joined us if you knew?" he shot back, keeping his voice calm.
"I don't know Seth. I don't even know who you guys are, I just jumped into this blindly." I breathed out, brushing my hair from my forehead, "I'm putting my trust into people that I barely know anything about and I'm feeling pretty stupid right now that I'm seeing it."
I shook my head, realizing how crazy it sounded when I spoke it out loud. I had been thinking that all day and now that I had said it I was panicking a little. Seth could see it and he sighed, holding out his hand in front of him. I frowned, looking from his hand to his deep brown eyes.
"I was Tyler Black in the indies, before I came to WWE," He started, eyes radiating honesty, "I'm Seth Rollins in that ring but to you Lila, I'm Colby Lopez."
I didn't know what to do. My hands dropped to my side as he stood there, hand held out for me. Our names were sacred in the WWE and only the most trusted of friends gave them out, yet here was Seth offering his freely. Taking another leap of faith I took his hand in mine, holding it tightly.
"I was Lila before at NXT and Lila now in this ring." I said softly, standing straight, "But my name is October Carmichael."
I bit my lip, a smile threatening to break through. Saying my given name felt foreign to me and I watched as Seth let out a grin. Letting my hand slip he held it gently by the fingers, thumb on my knuckles as he surveyed me.
