I slipped out of the RV early the next morning, iPod in hand. I had on a pair of leggings and a sports bra on, one of Phil's hoodies covering my skin. Putting in my headphones I blasted my music and putting up the hood. Taking off I lost myself in the music and the burn in my legs. I had no idea how long I had been running for when I came to a park. Veering off I ran through it, passing people on early morning walks. I was down a path when I noticed someone next to me. Looking over a let out a huff when I saw Seth. I sped up a little, leaving him behind me but he caught up, keeping in time with me. I continued doing that till we were both sprinting. Coming to a stop in front of a bench and a pond I ripped out my headphones.

:"What the hell do you want Rollins? It's bad enough I can't get away from you at work, now you're following me around on my run?" I gasped lungs burning.

"You were the one who came out to the ring." Seth huffed, hand on his chest.

"You know what I mean." I bent over, hands on my knees.

Seth held up a hand, taking deep breaths and wincing. I nodded pressing a hand against my chest, feeling my pounding heart. Seth uncapped his water bottle, taking a deep pull before offering me some. I wanted very badly to reject it but I was dying. Taking it I took a drink, feeling the burn disappear a bit. Wiping my mouth I handed it back, stretching my legs so I wouldn't cramp up.

"Seriously Seth what do you want?" I asked, pulling my leg back.

"I want to apologize if you'll hear me out." He stated, hands on his hips.

"I don't want to hear it Seth. As long as you're doing this to my friends I'm gonna try and stop you." I shrugged, grabbing my other leg.

"I know. I'm not asking you to change that. I work for the Authority and you can't stand them. We are on opposite sides of the spectrum here Lila. I just need to apologize. I've been feeling like shit since I threw you across the ring. I was just really pissed and I know that's not an excuse." He sighed wiping the sweat off his brow.

"I know I get it. When you're seeing red it's hard to control yourself. If you weren't Shield Seth we would be friends. I know that. It's not good enough to give you a free pass but I'll try remember that the next time we're squared off in the ring." I nodded, holding out my hand.

"I'll remember not to throw you." He grinned, taking mine and we shook.

"OK shall we?" I motioned to the path.

Making a face I put my headphones back in, leaving the hood down as we took off running. I was being honest with him when I said I thought we could be friends. He had an incredible dry wit and wry sense of humour that I enjoyed. I just wished things could be different.

Friday morning

Phil and I walked into the arena, going through the front entrance instead of the back. Stephanie had called together a meeting this morning and I was slightly nervous about it. We made our way into the arena, walking down the steps to the ring where there were already a few people gathered around the ring. Phil jumped over the barrier and held his hand out for me. Today I had a maxi sweater on with black and white stripes, black leggings on with my black suede wedge boots. For once I had my hair straightened and it fell to the middle of my back. Throwing my leg over I swung down, using Phil for balance. Brie and Nikki waved and we went to stand with them.

"You look so different with your hair straight. It's unreal." Brie commented, gazing at me.

"I know I thought I would go for shock factor today." I grinned, glancing around.
