Roman, Dean and Seth all stepped on screen and my face crumpled in distaste. I couldn't look at Roman unless I wanted my heart to hurt all over again. I still hadn't told Phil about my interactions with them and I was starting to feel guilty.
"So this match was added last minute to RAW. How are you feeling about being partnered up with the returning Wild Card Lila?" Renee asked, holding the microphone to Dean.
He licked his lips, a smug smirk on his face as he tapped his thumb against his vest. "Oh Renee she's my new favorite. I'm feeling pretty good about this...partnership. Maybe if things work out tonight we're hoping she'll reconsider joining us. I'm sure she'd look good in some Shield gear."
"Ugh." I stuck my tongue out.
"Well good luck tonight gentleman and we'll see you in a few."
It cut to commercial and I groaned, knowing I would have to go out soon. We were up first and I had adamantly refused to walk out with them and their song. Phil had a scowl on his face and I knew he was pissed. Sighing I turned to him, cupping his face in my hands.
"We got this ok? It's about me and you surviving." I stated firmly, staring him in the face.
"Yupp me and you." He nodded.
I held out my fists and he bumped them just as there was a knock at the door. Opening I saw Brad and followed him out, heading down to the gorilla. Passing Randy I gave him a tight lipped smile, trying to keep my mindset right. Making it to the gorilla I stood behind the curtain, waiting to go out. I pulled the sleeves up tight, thankful they fit snugly against my arms. Bouncing up and down I waited, hearing the signature start to their entrance.
Sierra. Hotel. India. Echo. Lima. Delta. Shield...
The crowds erupted into boos and the occasional cheers. Closing my eyes I ran my hands through my hair, wondering what was going to happen once I stepped out into that ring
"Introducing his partner from Seattle Washington! The WWE's Wild Card. LILA!" Eden Stiles announced, barely heard over the crowds cheers.
You can sell me alarms, you can call out your dogs
You can fence in the yard, you can hold all the cards
But I won't back down...
I walked out from the curtain as the words started, flipping my hair and raising my hand. Standing at the top of the ramp, I threw my hands out at my sides, flicking my hands, getting the crowd riled up. They crowd was screaming insanely, seeing the sleeves and the face paint adorning my chest and neck. All three men's faces could have been set in stone as I ran down the ramp, stopping to bump both Matt and Jeff's hands. Matty reached out grabbing my shoulders and we bumped foreheads. I gave him a classic Lila smirk and turned away. Running I slid into the ring, flipping and coming to a stand in front of the ropes. Jumping I flipped my hair back, raising a hand up to the ceiling. Grinning I jumped down, walking to where Dean was standing in the ring. Letting the grin drop off my face I clenched my hands, waiting for Paige to walk out. She took her time, hitting hands and sliding into the ring on the side. Holding up her title the crowd cheered but unenthusiastically. I leaned against the ropes as I waited for it.
Look in my eyes what do you see?
The cult of personality...
Phil walked out doing his entrance. I couldn't help but grin as he walked down, eyes focused on me. I smirked, tilting my head to the side as he walked up the stairs, standing next to Paige. Turning I made sure Seth and Roman were outside before turning my attention to Ambrose.
