I was seeing red as I stalked down the hallways. I passed a hall seeing Roman, Dean and Seth. Stopping in my tracks I turned, heading towards them. Seth left them there, meeting me down the hall the minute he saw me. As soon as I got close I pushed him over and over again, slapping my hands against his chest. He just let me, moving slightly each time.
"What kind of sick head games are you playing at Rollins?" I asked, voice thick with emotion, "Why not just stab me in the chest huh? It would have probably hurt less."
"I couldn't say anything Lila. What did you want me to do? I did what I could without betraying my alliance with the Authority!" he shouted, grabbing my arms, effectively stopping me.
I was trembling against his hands, hair wild around my head. He let go of me, pushing his hair back where it fell in his face. Dean and Roman were standing up, watching us intently.
"Why bother telling me anything then if you didn't want to ruin your position Seth?" I choked out, hands on my waist.
"Because despite everything Lila I'm not watching you go down. The day is going to come when they send us after you and if I'm completely honest I don't know what I'm going to do." He shrugged, glancing at Dean and Roman, "I'm sorry guys I don't know what I'm going to do."
"Welcome to the club brother." Roman stated simply, coming to stand next to us.
Dean came on the other side of us, rubbing his shoulder in an agitated way. His eyes were focused on my face as Seth stared at Roman.
"I guess we all belong to the same club." Dean grumbled, rotating his neck.
"What the fuck happened to my life?" I spoke out loud, turning around, running a hand through my hair, "You're making the line I'm walking here very blurry."
"Look we work for the Authority, you hate the Authority. You won't give up this feud and we won't quit. We're at an impasse here. So we go our separate ways and pray you don't piss them off enough to get us after you." Dean explained, tapping his thumb on his vest.
"It's what it has to be I guess. I can't keep sneaking around, meeting you guys behind Phil's back." I shook my head, glancing over my shoulder.
"He doesn't know?" Seth asked, eyebrow raised, "That's not the way to keep a relationship Lila."
"Storyline Seth." I scoffed, "And you're going to give me relationship advice?"
He looked flushed and looked away. I knew I was going to have to go back soon otherwise Phil would come looking.
"I gotta go."
I turned and ran down the hall, praying no one was around. I thanked my lucky stars as I ran down the halls, making it to the locker room just as Phil was walking out. I controlled my breathing as he spotted me.
"There you are. I was worried." He looked down at my flushed face, "Are you ok?"
"Ya I'm fine. Let's go back in." I nodded, pushing into the room.
Evolution was fighting against The Prime Time players and they were winning. I joined everyone who was standing facing the TV. I frowned watching Randy on the apron, still looking rested.
"How is he going to fight again right after this?" I asked, glancing at Brie and Daniel.
"He hasn't even been in the ring." Nikki scoffed, her face pissed off beyond belief.
