3 days later
I rolled over in bed, bumping into a warm body, sprawled out next to me. Phil was fast asleep, one arm over his eyes and the other resting on his stomach. Smiling I rolled out of bed, creeping to the window and peeking out. I suppressed a shout of excitement when I saw the sun shining and a slight breeze swaying the trees. I snuck across the room, not wanting to wake Phil up and grabbed my bag. Sneaking into the washroom I braided my hair loosely, letting it hang on the side of my neck and pulled out my black and blue bikini and slipped it on. Digging in my bag I grabbed a flowing floral top and a pair of shorts, putting them on quickly. Picking up my phone I texted Nikki, knowing she would be just as excited to see the sun.
Beach?
I leaned over, putting a swipe of eyeliner on each eye and a dab of gloss. The excitement gave me a natural flush and my grey eyes were sparkling even in the fluorescent bathroom lights. My phone went off and I almost lunged for it, checking the text.
Girl I'm already dressed. Meet you at in the lobby.
I grinned, grabbing one of my large towels, shoving it into a large beach bag with lotion and a large hat. Giving myself one last look I slipped on a pair of flip flops and sunglasses. I glanced over to the bed, Phil still in the same position, sleeping. I wrote him a quick note, placing it on the table next to him before grabbing my key and walking out the door. I made it into the elevator and to the lobby in record time. It was nice to shed the persona for the day and just be October, even if people didn't call me that. Nikki was waiting in the lobby, wearing a baby blue sundress, hair wavy and falling down her back.
"No one else is coming with?" I asked, coming up beside her.
"No Brie's gone meeting Daniel who is coming back soon and Nat is busy with Cameron. Just me and you Lila." She grinned, linking our arms and walking outside.
There was a cab waiting and we jumped in, giving instructions to head to the beach. I checked my twitter checking all my mentions and messages. Nikki was on her phone as well, mostly likely tweeting away and I shook my head in amusement as I seen her tag me in a tweet. After about 15 minutes we pulled up and I felt my heart race as I saw the water, waves crashing gently against the shore. Paying half I jumped out, not really paying attention to Nikki who joined me. I slung my bag over my shoulder and we took off down the boardwalk. This beach had shops all the way down and a boardwalk before the beach. We made our way to the few steps and I stopped, tugging off my shoes. Shoving them in my bag I stepped onto the beach, the warm sand enveloping my feet and I couldn't stop the chuckle that escaped my lips.
"I can't remember the last time I stood on a beach, able to spend the whole day there if I wanted to." Nikki murmured, her toes in the sand just like mine.
I glanced at her and around the beach, not seeing too many people on the beach despite being nearly noon. Biting my lip I let a smile grow on my face and I took off running headed towards the water. I heard Nikki let out a laugh and her footsteps following right behind me. I didn't see the two guys watching from the pier a few feet away.
Roman's POV
I watched Lila smile at Nikki before she took off running, her braid flying over her shoulder. Nikki was chasing her and even though I was a ways away I could hear Lila's laugh, carrying over the wind. Seth came up behind me, holding out a drink for me. I took it with a nod, glancing back over at Lila and Nikki.
"Go talk to her man." Seth nodded, leaning on the railing, seeing what I was looking at.
"I can't."
