I had my arms linked with Nikki and Brie and we were heading into a restaurant with our bags dangling together. I was glad I was making decent money in wrestling and I had nothing really to worry about. We walked in, getting a seat right away. I had put off telling them about Shield until I was sure they wouldn't freak out. We sat down and ordered, our drinks being set down in front of us.

"So what the hell happened to Shield? DO you think they're still together?" Nikki asked, finally bringing up the topic I had been avoiding.

"Who cares? Now we just have more to worry about with them completely on the loose." Brie frowned, and Nikki stared at her hard.

"They're not that bad Brie." I stated, watching her frown at me.

"Not that bad? Lila they have attacked Daniel more times than I can count. They interfere with you all the time. You know Daniel, my husband, your friend." She asked sarcastically, leaning on her elbow staring at me.

"Ya I know but maybe that was the Authority." I shrugged, not wanting to get into it with her in the restaurant.

"Look you've been back for like 4 months, You don't know what it was like here while you were gone." She shook her head, voice getting angry.

"That doesn't mean I don't know Roman." I snapped, glaring at her.

"No that means you think you still know Roman." She seethed, brown eyes darkening.

"NO I know Roman." I shook my head and Nikki glanced at me.

"You guys are talking again?" she asked, excitement in her face.

"Yes we are. And if you have a problem with that than I suggest you tell me now." I glared at Brie, whose mouth had dropped open.

"You're back with Roman Lila? Really? Wow I expected so much more from you. What's the next thing you'll be telling us, you joined Shield?" she growled, throwing her napkin on the table.

"What do you know about Roman Brie? Or Seth or Dean? Nothing so why do you get to judge them when you know nothing about them? All you know is who they were with the Authority, not who they are outside of that." I asked, voice furious and she said nothing, "Exactly you don't get to judge them. Why are you worried anyways? I told you I would have Daniel's back and I do. I always will but as for you, right now I could care less."

"Oh you think he's going to want your help after he finds out you're back with Roman?" she scoffed, flipping her hair over her shoulder.

"Ok Brie stop." Nikki pleaded, throwing a look to her sister.

"You know I would hope that a true friend wouldn't be so narrow minded when it comes to someone in my life that I love. And even if he doesn't Brie that's still not going to stop me from having his back." I pointed, throwing my napkin on my plate, "Excuse me ladies but my appetite has somehow vanished."

I threw some money on the table for my food and grabbed my bags, walking out. Pulling on my coat I heard someone behind me and I turned, expecting a fight only to see Nikki. She had a sympathetic look on her face and I gave her a tight lipped smile, still upset.

"I'm sorry about Brie. She gets really upset about them and Daniel. I'm happy that you're happy with Roman. I told you before that I wouldn't care if you chose him and I meant it. As long as you're happy." She reassured me, pulling me into a hug.

"I am for the first time in a long time. Especially after I found out about Phil and how he lied the whole time, Roman is really what I need. Seth and Dean aren't too bad either, once you get to know them." I shrugged, "I'm not asking anyone to be best friends but I just don't want to lose anyone else."
