Suddenly that ridiculous voice filled the room and I looked at the TV seeing Renee and Paige standing together. Randy and I sat there and watched Paige as she started her promo.
"So Paige how are you feeling about your fight against the 3 time Diva's Champ?" Renee asked, diving right into the questions.
"First of all it's not going to be a fight. It'll be a massacre. IT's been 4 years since she's been here. She's rusty." Paige exclaimed, holding the title on her shoulder, "She thinks all her attitude can cover up the fact that she's a B list wrestler. Sorry honey I can see right through your act."
"But she was the 3 time Diva's Champ. She held that title for most of her time here. Between her partnership with Roman Reigns and the intergender tag teams with the Hardy's she was unstoppable." Renee argued, making me smile at the angry look on Paige's face.
"Listen here. Just because she rode the coattails of a few superstars here doesn't mean she had the talent. I'm the Diva's Champion now and that's how it's going to stay. No matter what no talent has been tries to do." She tilted her head, grinning at the camera, "You got that Lila?"
She walked away after that, leaving Renee standing there with a worried look on her face.
"I got it loud and clear Paige." I answered softly, getting up from the couch.
"Boy she screwed up there." Randy whistled, running a hand over his head.
"I gotta go. I'll catch you later Orton."
I walked out, literally walking into Phil who I guessed was looking for me. He saw the look on my face and grinned, still in CM Punk mode. He had a slightly crazy look his face and I blinked, my face relaxing into the slightly cocky version of myself.
"She has a lot of nerve to call me a has been. I'm gonna make her a fucking has been." I growled, feeling the anger bubble up.
"Have you seen her yet?" he asked, leaning a shoulder against the wall.
"She came to the locker room, talking shit. Threatening." I snorted.
Brad came around the corner and motioned to me. I nodded bumping both fists against his and walked away. Throwing my hair over my shoulders I stuck my hand underneath, fluffing it up. I always liked it to look a little wild, more so now that I was back. Paige was just going out as I stepped in front of the curtain and I contemplated for a second giving her a little push. Rotating my neck I gave Brian a wave and a smile.
"And her opponent from Seattle Washington. The WWE's wild card! LILA!"
You can sell me alarms, you can call out your dogs
You can fence in the yard, you can hold all the cards
But I won't back down...
The crowd went crazy as I jumped out, raising my hands up. The stadium jumped to its feet to Paige's distaste. I stood in the middle of the stage, whipping my hair around. Paige stood in the middle of the ring, title resting on her shoulders. Walking down the ramp I hit people's hand on the sides, smiling at everyone's excited faces. Getting down I ran and slid into the ring, flipping up to my feet, shooting Paige a smirk. She stroked her title as she shouted shit at me. I ignored her, jumping up on the ropes, raising a hand to the crowd.
"Ladies and gentleman I haven't heard the crowd this energized in a long time. Seems to me like Lila still has it!" I heard Jerry announce making me grin.
