Chapter 37 Winning&A Softer Side of Dean

Woman's Championship Match Battle Royale

I bumped my fists on top of Phil's before following them out. There was a pile of Diva's at the gorilla, each of us staying away from each other. Brie and Alicia separated and we all waited as our music started. I turned away, glancing at the crowds. The arena here was huge and it was packed to the roof. It had been a long time since I performed in front of a stadium this huge and my stomach clenched. I heard a whispering sound and I looked around. I was by a curtain and some storage bins. Everyone around me was preoccupied and I looked around seeing the curtain move slightly. Frowning I glanced over my shoulder, making sure no one was watching and I slipped between them. It was dark and cologne drifted to my nose, instantly recognizing Dean.

"What are you doing here?" I whispered into the dark, "Are you crazy? If someone sees us talking..."

"Well stay quiet then." He whispered back, his voice low, "Watch out for AJ."

"Why are you helping me?"

"I'm not. Take it as a warning from Shield if you don't want my help. All I'm saying is don't turn your back on her and don't let her get her knee up." He stated, his voice coming from directly in front of me.

I glanced out the curtain, seeing only AJ left standing out there. She was looking around for me but when her music hit she walked out. I reached out a hand, my hand splaying against Dean's chest which was covered by his vest. He stilled under my hand and I felt the warmth coming off him.

"Thanks. I got to go." I said, voice volume normal.

I walked away, hand sliding off his chest. I jogged to the curtain as my music hit, no time to calm myself down. My heart was pounding as I grinned at the arena. The lights were flashing all around and I swayed my hips, over exaggerating my walk as I stopped in the front of the stage. Raising my hands the crowd cheered, the volume almost shaking the ground beneath my feet. I ran down the ramp to the 7 girls waiting in the ring. Sliding in I glanced around, tilting my chin up. AJ had a sick smile on her face as she stared at me. Eden was in the ring and she raised the mic.

"Ladies and gentleman you are about to witness for the first time in years a Battle Royale for the Woman's Championship Belt!"

The crowd exploded and she stepped out of the ring as a ref stepped in. I saw Team BAD all staring me down and Brie and Alicia gave me a look. As soon as the bell rang signalling the start of the match we ran at Tamina, knocking her over the ropes, instantly eliminating her. Everyone was running at each other and I made sure to keep my eye on AJ. She was locked with Alicia and Sasha was running at me. I dropped to my feet and planted them in her midsection. Letting out a shout I launched her over the rope. She landed on the ground, slapping her hands on it. I flipped onto my stomach and blew her a kiss before jumping up. AJ knocked Alicia out and started on Brie. Natayla was locked into a death grip with Naomi and I ran towards Brie, trying to knock AJ out. Before I could get anywhere Nat had been knocked over the ropes and Naomi had me by the hair. She ripped me back, making me land on my back. Instantly I was in pain as she jumped on me, repeatedly slamming my head with her fists. Reaching up I grabbed her shoulder, throwing her off. I rolled onto her, giving her the same treatment. I looked back for one second seeing Brie and AJ still going. I rolled off Naomi before jumping to my feet. I bounced off the ropes as she staggered to her feet. Spearing her she let out a shout. Jumping onto the top ropes I turned and drove my knee into her jaw. She rolled near the ropes and I kicked her out, eliminating her. I whipped around just in time to see AJ throw Brie over the top of the rope. She faced me, her eyes flashing dangerously. The crowd was going insane as we stalked around each other.
