SPECIAL CHAPTER 6

CAIDEN'S POV

"Wha-t are tho—se Daddy?"

Itinuturo niya ang maliliit na bituwin sa langit. We're currently in the sea shore. The cold breeze is too good in my body. I always want to feel the loving air that gives life to us as we breathe.

I'm talking to my son while showing the beauty of the stars and moon and also the sea beyond us.

"Those are stars. All of that shining brightly in the skies every night are stars."

We're on vacation here in Phuket Thailand after Zoe announced that we'll be having twin beauties! She's four months pregnant now and I'm so excited!

"Wooow! But mommy a sta—r?"

He tilted his head with narrowed eyes. I silently laughed and grabbed his hand near me. He probably noticed when I called Zoe my star.

"My little fire, your mom symbolizes a star to me... because she's continuously brightens my life especially in dark times. I was able to see the right path when she's around me. Your mom is my world, my star is my guide to live and she is my life. She's the reason why I'm still alive and you also. Our love for each other is the reason why you are here."

Napakamot sa ulo si Baby Aiden. I know, he didn't understand it for now. But when he grows up, he will know the true meaning of love.

"How? Daaaddy, hooow?" He twisted his lips and keep eyeing on me. He really wants to get the answer and know the reason behind.

"What do you mean Baby Aiden?"

By the way, today is his third birthday. His name Aiden is an Irish name which means little fire, a fiery one and the name Caleb is a Hebrew name which means dog, a faithful one. I always want him to call Aiden but Zoe would like to call him Caleb.

Our vacation is also my birthday treat to him. He likes nature and peaceful environment. He didn't want to socialize in loud areas where there are many children around. He just wants to keep everything in a nice setting. Ayaw na ayaw niya ang masyadong magulo at maraming tao.

As time goes by, I've been so busy in our company. But I had a chance to observe the changes in my son's body, cognitive thinking and emotions. During the years, he really starts to understand that his body, mind and emotions are his own. He knows the difference between feeling happy, sad, afraid or angry.

One time, I was surprised when he started to talk but nothings in there. Well sometimes he talked to himself especially if he was playing alone. Being alone is quite disturbing. I know the feeling of that. That's why I can't contain my happiness now. I was so grateful that we'll have a twin. Our baby Aiden will now have a playmate. I want to teach him on how to take good care of his siblings.

My son mostly cares about how others act and affection for familiar people. And as he gets more confident, he'll also get better at handling his emotions. He can tell at least four to five words in one sentence.

Then he can correctly name familiar colors and shape, understand the idea of same and different, pretend and fantasize more creatively, follow three-part commands, remember parts of a story, understand time better for example, morning, afternoon, night, count, and understand the concept of counting and he can also complete age-appropriate puzzles.

Zoe bought him five picture puzzles and he did right to combine them. He can also dress himself. He always reminds us that he can do that on his own. His potty training is also successful. He can eat alone and make friends; he can start activities with his own imagination and creativeness. His milestones are developing really awesome.
