It's been a week since Demi dropped the big bomb on me.

To say that I was shocked would be just about the biggest understatement in the universe.

"What do you mean you're pregnant?" I asked, my eyes as wide as flying saucers.

"There's a fucking child inside of my stomach, that's what I mean."

"But- how? I mean no offense but you don't exactly have the biggest social life anymore."

She glared at me before laughing, "Thanks."

"Mom, seriously.."

She took a deep breath and went back to frowning.

"It doesn't matter how it happened, although I'm pretty sure you already know how, but the fact is, is it did and there's nothing anyone can do about it." 'Except for a abortion,' I thought silently. Not that I would ever say that out loud, because seriously who the fuck condones abortion? Not me.

I sighed to myself.

"You know you're gonna start showing and there's no hiding it then."

"I know just, please. Don't say anything."

"I promise."

But on from that, today is March 27th, which means only one thing:

It's my fifteenth birthday.

I'm not one that get's excited and giddy about turning another year old, like most people.

In fact, my birthday's were always rather depressing, considering my biological mom and dad were always too caught up in blaming me for my sister's fuck ups to care.

And my fosters parents blandly just didn't care.

So in complete honesty, I've never even actually celebrated my birthday.

And I'm one-hundred and ten percent okay with that.

To me, it's just another normal day. Except I'm another year older.

I rolled straight off my bed and onto the floor, groaning.

After picking myself off of the floor I slowly made my way into the bathroom, brushing my teeth and throwing my hair into a messy bun.

And then taking a piss, since that's what the purpose of a bathroom was.. Including showers which is what I really need. Fuck that, I'm too lazy.

"Sammmm!" I jumped at the sight of four human beings throwing theirselves at me.

I cringed as I was literally smothered in hugs and kisses all over my faces.

"Happy birthday!"

"Thanks," I managed to croak out.

They all finally let go of me and stood back, looking at me confused.

"What?" I snapped, the fact that it was only eight o' clock in the morning on a Saturday making me slightly grumpy.

"It's your fifteenth birthday and you're not even excited?" Allison said, dumbfounded. I shrugged and walked to the kitchen, grabbing the orange juice from the fridge and drinking it from the carton.

Demi slowly walked into the kitchen and I immediately put the carton, smiling sheepishly as Demi glared at me.

Her facial expression softened and she walked towards me, stopping a foot in front of me.

"What's up, honey?"

I shrugged again, "Birthday's just aren't a big deal to me."

"Why not?"

"They just aren't." She smiled at me sadly. My eyes drifted down to her belly, the barely noticed bump already making its way through her shirt. And it was only noticeable to me because I was only one of the only two people who knew she was pregnant.

"How many months did they say you were?" I whispered.

"Three."

"Can you feel anything?" she shook her head and kissed my cheek softly.

"Come on. I know you said birthday's aren't a big deal to you, but they are to me. And wether or not you like it, we're celebrating in some way." Dear Jesus.

If you thing Demi being pregnant was a plot twist, you're in for a surprise.

I still have so much in store for this story. Stay tuned.
