Chapter 15

Demi's voice boomed throughout the house. "That's enough! The both of you!"

I didn't even realize how close to Aria's face I was until I began to back away. I didn't bother glancing at anyone again and made my way to my room, before I remembered that it was actually our room. I turned around and went into Demi's room, slamming the door.

'Psychotic freak!'

"What in the hell was that!?" Demi demanded. I kept my eyes towards the floor as she walked towards me.

"It was nothing."

"It was something. What happened, Sam?"

"Just a little fight. Nothing more," I explained in a monotone voice. Demi continued to stare at me as my eyes stayed glued to the floor.

"I'm going to talk to Aria, we can talk about this later. I'm assuming you'll be sleeping in here again?"

"Mhm." She gave me one last look before walking out of the room.

'Psychotic freak!'

"Do you think the tooth fairy will come?" Dani grinned at me.

"You have to actually lose your tooth in order for the tooth fairy to come, DanDan." She furrowed her eyebrows and looked at me frustrated.

"But why not? it's loose!"

"Because the tooth fairy comes to get your tooth and then leave you money, and it can't do that if you don't have a tooth to give it."

"That's stupid."

"That's logic." She groaned and threw her head back.

"Where's mommy at?"

"I don't know."

Demi's voice travelled throughout the room, "In here!" I looked around, I didn't see her anywhere.

"Uh, in where?"

I heard Demi laugh before she made her way out of her bathroom, "Right here, honey."

She turned to Dani, "And if I ever hear you say the word stupid again you'll be grounded for a weekend. Understood?"

"Yes ma'am."

She turned back to me, "Go get Alli and Ari for me, please. We all need to...talk."

I rolled my eyes.
