"I-I...u-uh...are you s-sure?"
"Of course I'm sure, sweetheart." I nodded frantically. She giggled at me.
"But there is one condition..." Oh god.
"...You have to share a room with Sam." I smiled widely. Phew.
"Thank you." she wrapped her arms around me and hugged me tightly.
"It's the least I can do."
...
SAMS POV
"So...you're..adopting her?" Allison processed. Demi simply nodded.
I was then surprised when I seem Allison's eyes go wide with excitement. Excitement?
Demi looked at her weirdly, "Uh..you okay there, Alli?"
"Yeah, I'm great! I'm just..I don't know. More people for me to hang with."
"Why didn't you make this big of a deal when I told you about Sam?" She shrugged and jumped up, running to my room to greet Aria.
I got up and walked to my room to see Allison and Aria on the extra bed, chatting and giggling away. They glanced over at me and chose to ignore my presence.
I felt kind of hurt. Alli's never acted like this towards me. Neither had Aria. She was my best friend for god's sake.
'Its because you're nothing but a crazy freak'
I shook my head to empty my thoughts and went back into the kitchen to spot Demi making dinner.
I sighed quietly to myself and went up to her, throwing on a smile.
"Need any help?"
She turned and eyed me weirdly, "...Sure. You can stir that pasta over there."
I walked over to the pot. Ew, pasta.
After awhile of stirring Demi came over and turned the stove off. She glanced over at me, "What's up, Sam?"
"What do you mean?" She narrowed her eyes.
"Don't start that."
"Start what?" She threw her head back an and groaned.
"Sam honey, you're gonna make me grow gray hairs. Enough of the funny business."
"I'm just in a good mood, mom. Calm yourself."
She looked at me, grinning widely. I rolled my eyes playfully.
"Don't." She threw her hands up in defense, still smiling.
"Go get the girls for dinner," she stated, pecking me on the cheek. I walked back into the hallway with a genuine smile on my fast.
How in the hell did my mood change so fast?
...
I wasn't planning on having an AN right here, but I just wanted to clarify that this isn't a cliffhanger, if that's what your thinking. Sam's BPD doesn't contribute to what just happened. And I know that it may seem like that was what I was trying put out, but it was meant for more of a happy statement than a "what the hell just happened" statement. Well, I guess it can be a what the hell just happened statement, but you get what I mean. Hopefully.
And I just probably confused you all, but whateverrr....
