Your P.O.V:
"LET ME OUT!" I cried as I banged against the door of the bedroom. After Laurance was sent away, a man named Mino came to "escort" me to my supposed room. This earned him a slap in the face. It wasn't all that bad. Just a red mark.
"Are you the person my father wants me to marry?" A male voice asks. I turn around and reach for my sword, only to remember that I didn't have it anymore.
"Um, I think so." I replied while trying to look for the nearest exit.
Score!
I spotted a porch and quickly ran to it. It was a long drop downwards.
Uh, never mind. I thought as I sat down on a couch nearby.
"I heard your voice from up here." The male spoke up as he sat down beside me. I rolled my eyes. I hated compliments from people I was forced to marry... Oh, that's right...
"Look, if you think I'm looking forward to this marriage thing, I'm not!" I exclaimed angrily. The guy raised his hands up in defense.
"I know, I completely understand! I... don't exactly want to do this either. I have a lover..." The man replied as he turned away.
I put my hand on his shoulder. "Hey, you didn't exactly tell me your name." I said, trying to change the subject.
"Fenir." He replied. "And you?"
I took my hand away from his shoulder and rubbed my arm. "(Y/n)." I said. There was an awkward silence between us until I spoke up.
"Who's your lover?" I asked. Fenir turned to me.
"Her name is Abby." He replied as his eyes started to tear up. "She was just beautiful. She was tough, but beautiful. But when my father wanted to arrange the marriage for me, he thought that Abby was interfering with the wedding, and ended up jailing her." Fenir looked down at his hands. "I just loved her so much, I just..." His tears started to fall.
Um, I don't do crying princes. Sorry dude. I thought.
I gave Fenir an awkward hug.
"Hey, d-don't cry. We'll find a way out of this, okay?" I asked. Fenir looked up at me, a small smile plastered on his face.
"Yeah... I hope." I nodded my head in assurance.
"Y'know, your dad was pretty stupid to do what he did- break you and Abby apart? My mother told that love needs no arrangement or else, it's not love." I said as I hugged him again.Fenir smiled. "Operation stop the wedding is a go." I laughed.
"No need to be so weird about it." I said as I rolled my eyes. At that moment, I remembered Laurance.
"H-hey Fenir?" I asked. "Is there any chance I could go down and meet my friends at the cell?"
Fenir seemed to think about it, but then suddenly thought of an idea.
"There is one option, but it includes my mother. Even then, it's a very dangerous trip back up." I nodded my head. I was ready for any danger. My middle name is danger... Actually it isn't. But hey? It's cool.
I smirked. "Let's do it!"
