Operation: Stop the Stupid Wedding (Part Two)

Your P.O.V:

"What are we going to do?! Nobody has shown up to come get us, and Laurance is about to decapitated!" I exclaimed as I ran my hands through my hair.

I was freaking out big time. Because of the stupid mess, I was in, I was beginning to think that all hope really was lost. For the past day, I've been ranting to Fenir about how worried I was about Laurance.

Laurance. That's it! I need to see Laurence before tomorrow. I thought.

"You know what? I can't handle this!" I told Fenir as I walked out of the room.

"W-where are you going?" He asked as his voice quavered. I guess now that he's seen my bad side, he was a bit intimidated.

"To see my friends." I said boldly. And with that, I stealthily made my way to the dungeon room.

~Time Skip~

Start music.

"So... are you scared?" I asked as I combed my hands through Laurance's hair. I think this will become a habit.

Laurance lightly shook his head. "Not really, I guess. But then I realized that if it was to save you, then it's worth doing." He replied as he weakly smiled. I shook my head in disagreement.

"Laurance, I'm not worth saving. You need to be saved because you're the one who going to be decapitated in a day from now. Please don't worry about me..." I trailed off once I saw Laurance grab my hand.

"Don't say that. You know I'll do anything to protect you. Even if you don't return the same feelings. That won't stop me from loving you." He said as he kissed my hand through the bars. I blushed, hoping to Irene that it didn't show. But I know it did. Laurance's smirk told it all.

"So, how is your life?" Laurance asked as he let go of my hand to play with some loose strands of my hair. I think playing with each other's hair was our thing now.

I shrugged. "It's not the best. 'Making me regret ever leaving Phoenix Drop." I said as I dropped my gaze from Laurance's eyes. Laurance lifted up my chin as he gazed into my eyes.

"...I'd kiss you, but I'm stuck here." He said. For a guy who was about to be beheaded, he sure was flirty.

It was my turn to smirk. "Well, maybe I wouldn't have kissed you regardless." I replied sassily. He smiled in return.

"Well played." He said.

I had almost forgotten that Aphmau was asleep in her cell. She said that she got tired when a future couple just talked among themselves. I swear on Irene's grave that this girl was annoying, and that one day, I'd lose my sanity and just kill her.

"I have to go pretty soon." I informed. "Anything you'd like to say before I go?" I asked.

Laurance seemed to think for a moment. "I'll miss you." He said with a smile.

I rolled my eyes as I was about to give a witty remark, only to stop myself.

If I really love him, what should I say to him before his life ends? I thought.

I looked into Laurance's eyes before managing to reach the sides of his head, and giving him a quick kiss.

"I'll miss you too." I whispered as I brushed some hair out of his eyes. 

Let's make him blush... I thought. 

"You look adorable when you're flustered." I commented, leaving him to blush lightly.

I pulled away from the bars, flashing a weak smile before heading up the stairs to where I would meet my fate...

A/n: Attention everyone. So Christmas Break is almost here and that means...

FREEDOM! YASSS!!!!! That also means more expected chapters for this book!

There are about 10 to 12 chapters left. I still don't know if I want to make a sequel or another Laurance x Reader. I already have another Laurance x Reader: The Music Studio, but that one already has a planned sequel, and it isn't even completed. 

I think after this book is done, I'll continue my other book. Also, sorry for the long disappearance on Wattpad. Well, not really. I just needed a second escape from reality.
