A/n: Well, you can try the song now... if you really want to.

Third Person P.O.V:

"So, that's how you guys met? I thought it would be a little more romantic..." Lucinda muttered. You rolled your eyes. You were currently at Lucinda's castle-like-residence; which was miraculously teleported to the stupid island.

"Can we please get on with the program!?" You asked hurriedly. Lucinda said that she would run a few tests on you. Not to talk about you and Laurance's relationship.

But that was exactly what she decided to do.

Lucinda rolled her eyes and sat on the couch beside you. You looked back at her with a deadpanned look. This made her chuckle.

"Oh honey, you're feisty one 'eh? No wonder Laurance likes you. I can tell what he sees in you," Lucinda stated. You felt your cheeks grow hot as you silently prayed that your face wasn't flaring a bright red colour. Lucinda continued.

"Anyways, perhaps you are correct. We should probably get with the program," she reasoned. You decreased the amount of 'death' in your "death glare" and sat up straight. You were ready for whatever relevant questions she had to ask you.

"Okay (Y/n). Do you think your mief'wa form is the reason why both you and Laurance can read each other's thoughts?" Lucinda asked. You thought for a moment before slowly shaking your head.

"I mean, Laurance and I could see each other in our dreams before I was turned into a mief'wa. Now that I think about it, we haven't encountered each other in our dreams recently..." you trailed off. In fact, you felt as if both you and Laurance were... distant? You weren't sure. You are with each other majority of the time. But, when was the last time that you two had an actual break?

Together, at that fact.

You brushed it off. Even though it was clear that you really did like Laurance now, you didn't want to make it seem like you were love sick.

"Hmm. Interesting. Do you think Michi- the mief'wa- had anything to do with this?" Lucinda asked. You nodded.

"Um, yeah. She bluntly stated that she was the reason why I am... what I am," you responded. You wondered how much Emmalyn and Aphmau really told Lucinda.

"And one last question," she said. You nodded for her to continue.

"I just want you to know that Emmalyn is currently asking your mother this question: do you know of any Divine descendants?" Lucinda asked. You kept your face blank before shaking your head 'no'. Lucinda nodded and dismissed you.

"You can leave. I have no further questions for you," Lucinda confirmed. You gave a curt smile before making your way towards the door. You stopped in your tracks once you heard a voice in your head. It slightly made your head hurt. Lucinda turned towards you with a concerned look.

"(Y/n), I need your help. I'm surrounded by these shadow souls, and they keep chanting my name."  You heard.

Laurance.

You bolted out the doorway in search of your love- erm... stupid Laurance guy..

Laurance's P.O.V:

I hope she comes soon. I thought, as I look around me. I've only managed to kill off twenty shadow souls. But there were still many to come. They were starting to creep me out by the fact that they knew my name.

"Laurance?!" I heard a voice call. I turned around to the source of the voice.

"(Y/n)! Thank Irene you're here," I exclaimed. I quickly watched as she took out her sword.

After fighting off the majority of the 'Laurance- chanting-shadow souls' (or so (Y/n) called them), the rest of them ran away; leaving me curious as to where they went.

I suddenly felt two arms wrap around me. I looked down to see (Y/n) hugging me. I hugged her back and smiled.

"Hey. How are you doing?" I asked. (Y/n) didn't let go, but still answered.

"I'm fine, I guess. Still trying to figure out our little... power; or whatever you'd like to call it," she replied. I nodded and kept my arms wrapped around her waist. I kind of liked (Y/n)'s affectionate side. That way, she would refrain from punching me or saying the word 'stupid'.

"I really missed you," I stated, breaking the small silence. (Y/n) finally broke away from the hug and looked into my eyes. She smiled.

"I don't blame you. Everyone just can't get enough of me," she joked. I smirked at her response. (Y/n) turned and signaled me to follow her.

"And, I guess I missed you too..." she muttered. I smiled as I walked up beside her.

After walking a bit, we made it to a small house. Travis' old house.

"Wow. I can't believe I almost forgot this place..." (Y/n) muttered as she climbed the small set of stairs to the house. She lifted the door mat and pulled out a small key. She turned to me.

"He really put this key in a stupid place," she orated. I nodded and joined her by the door. After (Y/n) unlocked the door, she dashed inside while dropping the key on the floor, and made her way upstairs. I chuckled before locking the door behind me, and slipping the key in my pocket.

"(Y/n)? Where are you?" I called as I made my way up the stairs. I made it to the guest room; a place where I knew (Y/n) might be.

Before I could call her name out again, my face was met with something soft; but the hit was still hard. I looked to see (Y/n) inside the room with a pillow in her hands.

"Do you really want to do this?" I asked, as I came inside the room and picked up a pillow. I slowly stepped forward while (Y/n) stepped back.

"Bring it on Laurance," she challenged. And that's when I chased her. (Y/n) and I jumped over and crawled under the bed to chase each other.

Finally, I was able to catch her on the floor. (Y/n) pouted as she turned us over on the floor, thus making her lay on top of me. I smirked as I looked at the little space between us.

"Does this exact scenario remind you of something?" I asked. (Y/n) smiled as she rested her hands on my chest.

"Maybe," she responded. She looked at the bedroom doorway before looking at me.

"I mean, Aphmau isn't here to interrupt us this time..." (Y/n) trailed off. I smiled.

"Yeah, so you want to maybe... finish what we started?" I asked. She smiled as she neared closer to me.

And our lips touched. Nobody was there to interrupt. And even if somebody did, this would definitely not be a misunderstanding.

My arms hugged (Y/n)'s waist as she brought her arms around my neck. After we pulled away, I smiled.

"I think that's how it was supposed to go four months ago. Don't you think?" I whispered. (Y/n) looked into my eyes again.

"Yes, this is much more like it," she confirmed.

A/n: The end is near guys! Thank you for staying with me! If you want a sequel, you can tell me in the comments. Unless you want me to continue this book until 50 chapters. I mean, I could probably do that... right?

Haha, take care guys! Bye!
