Stupid Laurance... Time

Laurance's P.O.V:

"Laurance? Wake up." I heard a voice call.

"Eh? Five more minutes..." I groan into the pillow. The same voice laughed.

(Y/n). I thought. 

I turned around and ended up face to face with (Y/n).

"Hello." I said groggily. (Y/n)'s eyes had small traces of laughter. A light smile was plastered on her face.

"Good morning sleepy-head." She replied sarcastically. I frowned.

"Morning?" I asked (Y/n) nodded.

"Yup, you slept through the night. I personally don't think I'm that bad to babysit." (Y/n) reasoned. I chuckled.

"Oh, you're horrible! Total nightmare." I said sarcastically as I got up from bed to stretch. (Y/n) calmly sat down on a chair and opened up a random book, to a random page, before sighing.

I raised a brow. "What's up?" I asked. (A/n: The sky!)

(Y/n) abruptly closed the book before standing up quickly.

"Well, am I so glad you asked!" She exclaimed somewhat sarcastically. I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Today is our last day in Scaleswind and I don't want to do completely nothing so let's do something!" (Y/n) said in one breath. I chuckled.

"Okay, I'll wait downstairs and you can get ready; sound great? Good. Hurry up!" She said hurriedly and left; not giving me the chance to speak.

"Sure I'll come with you!" I muttered under my breath.

Time Skip~

Start music.

(Y/n) waited for me in the kitchen. Once I got down, she bolted for the door.

"Hey! Wait up!" I exclaimed before following her out the door.

"Why are you so energetic today?" I asked as I caught up with her.

"I may or may not have eaten a lot of pancakes today!" She said excitedly as we walked aimlessly through Scaleswind.

"So what exactly do you plan on doing?" I asked. (Y/n) shrugged.

"I DON'T KNOW!" She yelled as she ran ahead of me. I am officially done trying to figure out her moods.

(Y/n) then stopped in front of a blacksmith.

"My swords." She muttered whilst taking them out. She then looked back at me and slid her swords back in her sheath.

"These can wait." She said simply before skipping through the different merchant stands.

I followed behind her, but stopped when I saw a glimpse of bright red hair. I stepped back a few steps to get a view of this person.

She looks familiar. I thought before the lady turned around.

"Kiki?!" I asked when the head of read hair had turned.

"Who- Laurance? Wow, it really is you! Leona, come here!" Kiki exclaimed as she made her way over to me and gave me a hug. We pulled away.

"How have you been?" I asked. I felt a presence come from behind me. I knew it was (Y/n).

I turned to see her standing there with curiosity. I grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to me.

"Oh, I've been fine! I've just been taking care of a farm here in Scaleswind. I'd ask you questions on were you went for 15 years, but I'll leave that out." She said. Kiki then shifted her gaze to (Y/n).

"Ah, I see you have girlfriend now! Wow Laurance, 15 years really does change people!" She smirked. I blushed and glanced at (Y/n). Her face showed no expression; something she did when she was embarrassed or concealed a smile or laugh. It was rare to see her blush.

"W-we're not dating or anything, just friends." I explained. Kiki raised a brow.

"Uh huh, sure. Leona, get but over here!" Kiki yelled.

"Yeah, I'm coming mom!" A voice whined. A girl with black hair, a wolf tail, and ears ran over to Kiki.

"Laurance, this Leona, my daughter." She introduced. My eyes widened.

"Wow, she's grown since the last time I saw her!" I exclaimed. Kiki nodded.

"Leona, this is Laurance, an old friend of mine. He's a guard of Phoenix Drop. That beautiful lady beside him is his girlfriend." Kiki explained.

"Hiya!" Leona exclaimed.

"Kiki, we're not dating." I repeated. She just shrugged and smiled.

"Well it was nice meeting you..." Kiki trailed off, wanting to know (Y/n)'s name.

"(Y/n) Von'Ronsenburg." She replied with a smile. Kiki's eyes widened.

"You're Nicole's sister! Wow, that's amazing! Well, nice seeing you again Laurance! Nice meeting you (Y/n)!" Kiki said. She then whispered in my ear.

"She's a keeper you know?" Kiki asked. I rolled my eyes and dragged (Y/n) towards the forest. The faint laughs of Kiki could be heard.

"Ke, ke, ke! Bye Laurance!" ( A/n: Who forgot that Kiki laughed like that?)

"Laurance?" (Y/n) asked. I turned face her.

"Yes?" I replied.

"Can we climb that tree?"

I looked towards the tree she was pointing at. (A/n: Every time I say or think of trees, it reminds me of Levi from AOT)

"Sure, if it makes you happy." I reasoned. (Y/n) smiled at me before letting go of my hand to climb the tree.

Once were up, I looked at our surroundings.

The tree we sat on was almost like a narrow bowl shape. I rested my head down in the weirdly shaped tree. (Y/n) crawled over to lay her head on my chest.

I liked the little moments like this between us. I think Scaleswind was exactly what we needed.

I snaked an arm around her waist. She didn't protest. Instead, she cuddled closer to me.

All of the drama was behind us. She was now starting to trust me.

I looked down to see (Y/n)'s eyes closed. Her breathing was softer.

Those pancakes, I swear. I thought.

My mind drifted off to other things.

(Y/n) has a great voice. I thought. Why doesn't she sing more often?

I then thought about the fact that she was still a mief'wa.

I'll make fun of her when she wakes up. I thought before holding her closer.
