Your P.O.V:
I watched as Laurance laughed and clutched his stomach. I rolled my eyes.
"I thought this would be old by now!" I exclaimed angrily as I sat up on the bed. Laurance calmed down and pulled me towards him.
A/n: wAIT!! I need to explain! You're basically straddling his upper body (in other words, abs). We're NOT there yet guys.... Okay, continue.
"Fine, I'm sorry for making fun of your mief'wa ears and tail," he apologized. I gave him a satisfied expression before bringing my hands to his hair. Laurance smiled slightly before closing his eyes.
I understood that he was tired. We all were. The past two weeks had been pretty hectic. Many questions still remain unanswered. How are Laurance and I still able to communicate? Where were the shadow souls coming from? How come the two of us can't see each other through our dreams?
'Why am I still a stupid mief'wa?' I asked myself. Laurance chuckled. I sneered and rolled my eyes.
"Mind your own business!" I scolded. Laurance opened his eyes and smirked.
"But your business is in my head," he retorted. I fumed.
"Whatever... stupid person..." I muttered. Laurance tried to hide his smile as he closed his eyes in attempt to sleep again. I sighed and got off the sleeping Laurance, and left to go see Emmalyn in her quarters.
"Emmalyn? It's me. Can you let me in?" I asked. There was no answer. I slowly (but quietly) opened her door. My eyes softened at the sight.
There was Emmalyn, peacefully sleeping; her head rested on a desk full of papers. I smiled before carefully closing the door behind me.
I got to the top deck of the ship; ignoring all my surroundings. Not even the setting sun could catch my attention.
I decided to randomly sit on the floor of the ship. I rested my chin on the palm of my hand and began to stare into space. After doing so for a while, I concluded that it would be best to see if our boat was going off course or not.
I gasped at the sight before me. I had never thought I'd be more happy to see this place. I laughed. I laughed so much, anybody who saw me would think I was ballistic.
"We're home!" I exclaimed. "We're finally home!" I jumped up and down and squealed; something totally unlike me.
"Oh my Irene, we're home!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. At that note, out came a groggy looking Emmalyn.
"Why are you-" Emmalyn cut herself off as she looked at the view behind me.
"Wow," she marveled. I nodded excitedly.
"That is one beautiful sunset," she finished. I deadpanned. The blonde broke into a small smile.
"I'm just kidding! I'm glad we're home," she stated. I smiled.

"(Y/n)! Welcome back!" Aphmau cheered as she gave me a hug. I smiled and hugged her back. Maybe being nice isn't that bad. I looked around and greeted both Dante and Logan.
"Hey guys!" I waved. They waved back and we exchanged greetings.
"TRAVIS!" I exclaimed. Travis smiled and opened his arms for a hug. Instead, I pushed him back.
