-Aliya.

"Uh... a horse? No... a werewolf?" Dante shook his head once more in reply as he tried to replicate the actions of a certain noun. Who knew Logan could be so bad at charades?

"Donna?" Logan question once more. Dante paused and glared at Logan incredulously.

"What? No! I was pretending to be a dog!" Dante explained as he sat back down in his seat. I snickered a bit.

"Whatever," Logan mumbled. "Same thing..." My snickering halted.

"Hey, Logan, don't disrespect your wife like that," I reasoned. Logan waved off my statement.

"Oh, relax, Laurance. I was only joking." Logan rolled his eyes. "Trust me, Donna says worse about me. What I say about her is nothing." I let out a breathy laugh and a small smile.

So this was Logan and Dante's idea of a celebration: food, beer, food...

And more beer.

I didn't touch much of anything, though. Despite Dante's encouraging words from earlier, I still felt a bit out of it. Although, being here, with my friends, made me feel a lot better than before.

Dante shook his head with a small smirk. "Logan, you're getting old too fast," he said. Logan frowned grumpily and smacked Dante upside the head, earning a grunt from the blue haired male.

"Well, I'm certainly not getting any younger, am I?" Logan questioned. Dante rubbed the back of his head.

"Ow! I'm just saying..." Dante replied. Logan narrowed his blue eyes.

"Oh, yeah? Well, there's a lot of things I'd like to say. But unfortunately, certain people deem my statements "disrespectful"," Logan emphasized as he glanced at me. I shrugged my shoulders while I slid out of my chair. A wave of tiredness had suddenly overcome me and my eyes began to feel heavy.

"I should be on my way back, now. Thank you for this evening," I said with a genuine smile. Dante returned the gesture.

"Thank you for coming out of your room! I don't know what else Logan and I would have done if you didn't." Logan shifted in his seat at Dante's last note.

"And thank you for taking a damn shower," he muttered sarcastically. "I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't." I let out a heavy sigh but forced a strained smile.

"No problem, Logan," I said through clenched teeth. Logan snorted at my remark before waving me off. Dante left his seat to walk me out of the restaurant.

Kawaii-Chan's restaurant was quiet, especially at this time of the evening. The sun merely peaked over the horizon and the chipper sounds of the late-night crickets were already prominent. The sky reminded me of the time (Y/n) and I relaxed under the stars, listening to the soft wind rustle through the trees.

"Hey, Laurance?" Dante's voice broke through my thoughts. My eyes darted to his figure in response. He then placed a reluctant hand on my shoulder, as if to reassure me.

"Stay safe, all right? If you need anything, I'll always be here for you. Don't forget that." I looked into Dante's wary eyes. Deep down, there was a worry. A dark blue shadow of worry that veiled his eyes like a silk curtain. I sent him a small smirk and punched his shoulder lightly.
