Your P.O.V:
𝕀 watched as Donna hurriedly shuffled into my living area.
After helping me clean up the... slightly damaged objects from the floor in my house, she decided to make us baked bread before we had our stupid "chat".
I didn't know Donna that well, but out of all the civilians in Phoenix Drop, she was the one that I knew the most about; that is, excluding Laurance and Aphmau.
"So (Y/n), let's start off with the ounces of broken glass that we just cleaned from the floor." Donna interrogated. I sat up straight.
"Wow Donna, you look great! Say, where are your kids?" I asked, as I tried to drift her away from the topic. Donna rolled her eyes.
"(Y/n), I'm not dumb. Just tell me." Donna reasoned. I sighed.
"Well, Emmalyn said she would talk to me about this once I was settled, but she said something about chemical imbalances in the brain..." I trailed off, still trying to figure out what it meant.
I don't think I will ever understand Emmalyn.
"Okay, let's just talk about something else. What's with you and Laurance?" Donna asked as she quickly changed the subject. I felt my cheeks get hot.
Why? I thought to myself. Why am I blushing like there's no tomorrow?
I simply shrugged my shoulders and attempted to hide my face in between my knees that were hugged tightly against my chest. Donna smirked.
"Wait, don't tell you guys already-" I cut Donna off.
"NO! What do think we do when we're alone?!" I asked, perplexed with her statement.
Donna covered her mouth with her hands.
"Sorry! I think I went too far!" Donna apologized I waved it off and slouched on my couch. (A/N: He,he, he! That rhymes!)
"It's fine. Aphmau made fun of us just because we were playing with each other's hair in a jail cell." I proposed. Donna's eyes widened.
"You guy's played with each others hair?! In a jail cell?!" Donna squealed. I automatically regretted telling her Laurance and I's little habit. Just thinking about it made me run my hand through my own hair.
"That's it (Y/n). I dare you to go to Laurance and stay with him for the rest of the day!" Donna demanded as she leaned back in her seat. I sat up abruptly from my slouching position.
"What?! Um, no!" I exclaimed as I stayed glued to my seat. Donna smirked.
"Fine. Then I'll bring him to you." She snarled playfully as she got up and walked over to the door. My instincts finally kicked in as I ran to the door and blocked it.
"No!" I barked. Donna put her hands on her hips.
"Why not?" She questioned. I gulped.
"Because... bec...b-be-" My struggling words were cut off by a knock on the door.
I turned around to open the door and 'man, Irene sure had it out for me.
"Because he's already here..." I mumbled as I faced Laurance.
"Hey mief'wa ears." Laurance joked. I turned around, ignoring Laurance's comment, and faced a smirking Donna.
"Well, I have to go. The kids are probably just about to destroy Logan until there's none of him left." Donna reasoned as she flashed me a wink. In return, I sent glares towards her direction. I just knew she could almost feel them.
And with that she left.
"Come in... stupid Laurance." I said, desperately trying to offend him. All I earned was a chuckle in response.
"So, what brings you here?" I asked curiously. Laurance smiled softly.
"Levin agreed with Aphmau to let us rest for a few days before getting back on track." Laurance replied. I nodded.
Deep down, I was so excited that Laurance was free.
"So, what do you suppose we do?" I asked. Laurance strolled over to the couch and sat down. I walked over sit on his lap whilst facing him. Laurance wrapped his arms around my waist so I wouldn't fall.
"I was thinking we could go to the dungeon and see the person who actually brought us to the Southern Wolf Tribe." Laurance suggested. I nodded.
"Can I kill the person?" I asked? Laurance smiled.
"Not unless we need you to, which will probably be never." Laurance reasoned. I frowned slightly before resting my chin on his shoulder.
It was a comfortable silence between us. The sound of each other's breathing more than enough said.
That was, until there was a knock on the door.
I lifted my chin off of Laurance's shoulder and faced him with a questioning look. He returned my gaze with a raised eyebrow. I got off his lap and made my way to the front door, then opened it.
"Hey (Y/n)! If you and Laurance could come to the dungeon in about ten minutes, that would be great." Said a troubled Aphmau. I stood there confused.
"Woah, woah. What's up?" I asked. Aphmau shuffled as if she needed to use the bathroom.
"It's something about the prisoner in the dungeon. She's dangerous; well, kind of. But please come quick." Aphmau rushed, before storming away.
"Sure..." I muttered before shutting the door.
"Who was that?" Laurance asked. I turned to face him standing in front of me. I leaned against the door.
"Aphmau needs to see us at the dungeon. Apparently, the prisoner is a female, and dangerous." I replied. Laurance nodded as neared closer to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I shook my head and looked at the little or no space in between us.
The tiny barrier between us was completely gone once Laurance closed the gap with a tender kiss. I slowly wrapped my arms around his neck. Laurance pulled me closer against him therefore, deepening the kiss.
Third Person P.O.V:
Laurance and (Y/n) were in pure bliss, their own world.
That is, until there was another annoying knock on the door. This time, it was impatient.
"Ugh..." Muttered (Y/n), as she and Laurance pulled away. (Y/n) opened the door to see an anxious Donna.
"So, did you guys-" Donna was cut off by Laurance's voice.
"Hey (Y/n), we should probably go now." Laurance reasoned. (Y/n) quickly nodded before quickly getting her swords, and closed the door after Laurance; thus, ditching Donna.
