Your P.O.V:

"You've been bothering me from yesterday!" I exclaimed as the blacksmith handed me my now sharpened swords.

"Yeah but," Laurance paused to ruffle my hair.

"it's funny!" He finished. I gave him a nasty glare before looking for the merchants that sold food.

Today was our last day in Scaleswind. Aphmau and I agreed to split up the job of getting food and more supplies for when we boarded the new ship.

Aphmau and I were... closer. At least more than we were. I guess Nicole's stupid talk was a good thing.

"Were to next?" Laurance asked. I looked around for a bit before spotting a small market.

"Food!" I shouted before darting off into the crowd.

"Excuse me! Pardon me. Watch out! Coming through!" I plead through the hordes of people as I squished in between them.

"Here we are." I said to no one in particular.

"I hope you didn't forget about me, mief'wa ears." Laurance joked. I growled before heading into the market; Laurance following close behind.

The colours of different fabrics and fresh apples eradiated against the sun's rays.

"Wanna split the job up? They say two heads and a tail are better than one." Laurance reasoned. I turned to face a smirking Laurance staring right back at me.

"...FJJHESDUE! Shut up!" I exclaimed. Laurance smiled.

"Is that a 'yes' in cat?" He asked. That was it.

I turned around and walked away, thus leaving Laurance to catch up.

"Thank you so much for letting us stay here Nicole. It is most greatly appreciated." Aphmau stated formally.

"We are forever in your debt." Laurance saluted. Guards. So formal these days. I thought.

I could be formal! When I wanted to.

Nicole smiled. "Oh don't worry about it. Anything for a friend; and my sister." Nicole glanced towards me. I knew what was coming.

"I'm going to miss you (Y/n)!" Nicole cooed as she engulfed me in a killer hug.

I wrapped my arms around her.

"I'll miss you too. Stay strong." I whispered before we pulled apart. Nicole chuckled.

"Be nice! Remember what we talked about!" Nicole shouted as I made my way towards the ship.

"When I want to!" I threw over my shoulder. Nicole chuckled and shook her head.

"Next stop, Phoenix Drop." I said as I boarded the ship.

"So, how have you been?" Travis asked. We were seated on some crates as we looked out onto the ocean. Scaleswind now looked like a faint memory.
