Chapter 23- Movie/Fresh Groove

AC's POV

I had waken up and feel better from last night. It's now 10:00 AM, and we got to go to Fresh Groove at 6:00 PM.

I woke up late. Everyone is already awake except for me who had just waken up. Now I got to figure out how to get downstairs again without using my foot with the cast.

I finally got downstairs and I see now that everyone is not here. I forgot that my school is closed because of the attack, and my parents are at work, and my brother is at school. I'll quickly eat breakfast. I got a bowl and some cereal. My mom had left a note on the table it says:

Dear Ac,

Ac, since we are at work and no one is home to watch you, Lucky is coming over again at 11:00 AM. Your Tita Angelica will pick both of you up at 5:30 PM to drop you guys off at Fresh Groove. Be safe.

Well Lucky is going to be here in a hour. I better go get showered and get changed. I got to go upstairs again. Dang it.

***After showering***

I finished showering and getting dressed, and I got to go back downstairs now so I can open the door for Lucky. He'll be here in 15 mins. That's how long it took me to get ready.

I got downstairs without falling, and sat on the couch. I'll just go watch YouTube on my phone while I wait.

I'm scrolling through YouTube and one of the Dance Kids Videos came up as a suggestion. I think it was the first video of us on Dance Kids. I'll go watch it.

I finished watching, and I wished that I can remember that moment. It must of been fun. Lucky just texted me that he was on the way. I'm just going to wait here on the couch. His house isn't that far from my house, so he should be here really soon.

***Few mins later***

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

Someone is here at the door. I got my crutches and walked towards the door and looked through the peephole. It was Lucky. I opened the door and Lucky greeted me.

"Hello Ac, how are you?" Lucky said.

"Good, thanks. How are you?" I said.

"Fine. What do you want to do?" Lucky said.

"I don't know. I brought some movies if you want to watch them." Lucky said.

"Sure, what movies?" I asked.

"I brought 3 action movies. They are Suicide Squad, Captain America Civil War, and London has Fallen. Which one?" Lucky asked.

"Umm... I don't know. There all good. Flip the cases, shuffle them around, and I'll close my eyes and choose a random one." I said.

"Alright." Lucky said.

I closed my eyes and I can hear Lucky shuffling the cases.

"Ready." Lucky said.

"Okay." I said.

I just chose a random disc, and I flipped it and it was London Has Fallen.

"Alright, you got London Has Fallen. I'll hold put the disc in now." Lucky said.

"Okay." I said.

I sat on the couch and Lucky put the movie in.

"Do you want anything like popcorn or some foods like that? I brought some bags of popcorn. I can go heat it up in the microwave?" Lucky said.

"Okay Lucky." I said.

"Alright, I'll be right back." Lucky said.

"Okay." I said.

Lucky went to go heat up a bag of popcorn. I just got the remote and skipped all the ads so it is at the main screen.

Lucky finished heating the popcorn and he gave me a bowl of popcorn and he has one aswell.

"Thank You Lucky." I said.

"Your welcome Ac." Lucky said.

I played the movie and then it started.

***After the movie***

We finished watching the movie and it wa sc really intense. Too bad we can't watch the other movies because Tita Angelica is almost here. It is now 5:25 pm, and she is going to be here at 5:30 PM. Me and Lucky started to get ready to leave now.

***5 minutes later***

We saw Tita Angelica's car and I got a house key, and alarmed the house and went outside. Lucky helped me into the car.

"Thanks Lucky." I said.

"Your welcome." Lucky said.

"Hey guys, how were you guys?" Tita Angelica said.

"Good, thanks Tita." I said.

"You guys ready for school tomorrow?" She said.

I had forgotten we have school tomorrow. Well I hope it isn't that hard to walk around and get to class. One of the doctors gave me a paper that allowed me to leave early and to use the elevator for the days I need the cast.

"Yes po." I said.

***Arrive at Fresh Groove***

We're here at Fresh Groove and we went inside. Me and Lucky took the elevator because I have a cast on.

We're here now at the room and went inside. Our instructor Mark Dogillo already knows we can't dance right now, because our parents told him, and they said we will watch them practice so we know how to at least do it.

We're now here and we saw everyone from our class and our instructor. Some people had some shocked looks when we came in. I'm guessing because of my cast.

"Hello guys." Mark said.

"Hello Mark." We said.

"Okay, just sit off to the side where the chairs are so you guys can see what were doing." He said.

"Okay thanks." We said.

"Your welcome." He said.

We walked towards the chairs and we sat there so we can learn the Dance moves.

***After practice***

The practice finished and some of our classmates came to us and asked what happened. I just said there was a terrorist attack at our school and we tried to run out and one of them shot my leg and shot Lucky's shoulder. The doctor said I needed to wear this cast for a week, and now it is day 2.

After that, we got in Tita Angelica's car and we went home. It's 8:00 right now.

Lucky's Mom dropped me off and I said bye to them and they also said bye and I got the key to my house and unlocked the door and went inside. My parents and Ace are now home.

"Hello Ac." They said.

"Hello." I said.

"Here Ac, eat now. I made some food." My mom said.

"Okay Thanks you." I said.

"Your welcome anak." She said.

***After Eating***

I finished eating and now I got to go to sleep because there is school tomorrow. I changed and did my bed routine and went to sleep. Zzz... Zzz... Zzz...
