Chapter 90- The Last Chapter

AC's Unconscious POV

I have a lot of fears. Anyone of them could be it. Drowning, Darkness, and many other fears. The entire scenery just changed. I'm in a city alley way, and it's night outside. There's a light post above me that seems like my only source of light around me, and then it started flickering...

"Over here..." A voice whispered.

I turned around, and there was a man. Then all of a sudden he turned into a giant spider and it started getting closer. The spider was about the same size as me, and I started backing up when I hit the wall, and there was no where to go. It's glowing red eyes looked menacing and it kept getting closer and closer... I was about to start screaming, crying, and panicking, till I remembered this is a test. I looked around me, and there was a metal bat on the ground beside me. I picked it up and started talking to the spider.

"Stay back!" I yelled.

The spider started to backup, and now it seems like I had the upper advantage. I kept moving closer to the spider, but maintained my distance. Then the spider was no where to be seen after that, and then appeared Lucky.

"You passed your second test. Your fear of bugs." He said.

"Good. One to go." I said.

"Yep. Here we go." Lucky said.

Change in scenery happened again, this time I'm behind a stage, and I can hear an audience applauding in that stage.

"Next up AC Bonifacio!" A voice on a speaker announced.

"Wait what am I doing here?" I asked Lucky who was next to me still.

"You'll see." He said and disappeared.

I walked up onto the stage, and crowd started clapping. There was a microphone on the stage, and the teleprompter I could see had read Ikaw. I think I'm suppose to sing.

I grabbed the microphone and then the introduction of Ikaw started playing. I didn't even have time to practice... let alone even know all the lyrics.

As soon as I was suppose to start singing, the teleprompter shut off... what am I suppose to do? I know the first verse and chorus, but I don't know any of the second verse... I started singing as I was suppose to, but I'll wound up getting stuck on the second verse...

I continued trying to remember the second verse while singing, but it's hard to concentrate while singing. What will they think of me as soon as they here me to attempt to sing the second verse? What will happen to my reputation? What will my parents think? What do I do?

I started to try calming myself down and think. It's kinda hard to do that when there's a whole audience just watching...

Wait. That's it. I'll improvise. They're singing along with me right now as I'm singing. All I need to do is focus on one person who is currently singing with me and I'll get them to sing the second verse. It might be bad, but it's a better alternative then just standing there.

As soon as it was getting close to the second verse, I picked a person to come up on the stage with me. They got up and I gave them the microphone and told them to start singing. He started singing the second verse or what I'm pretty sure is the second verse. I started doing some dance moves and try interacting with the crowd. Security was also pretty confused why I made that maneuver, I signaled one of them to get me another microphone, and she did that and got me the other microphone. It was the perfect time to because it was the ending of the song and I know this.

I sang the last part of the song with the guy, and then finished off with an applauding the guy and thanking him. He was pretty happy and also confused because I picked him out of all the other people. He did pretty good and I could say he even did better on some parts then me.

I turned around and saw Lucky there clapping.

"You passed all three challenges! Fear from heights, bugs, and now Stage fright. I think it's time you go back to the real world now." He said.

"Wait before I go, I have one question." I said.

"Yeah? What is it?" He asked.

"What did you mean earlier you're dead but not dead." I asked.

"Like I said. That's for you to find out when you wake up." Lucky said.

"Thank you for helping me even though you might just be apart of my mind." I said.

"You're welcome, now I think it's time for you to wake up." He responded.

"Wait, one more thing." I responded.

I had a thought. This is my mind. I can do whatever I want and getaway with it.

I went up to Lucky, and pressed my lips onto his. He held me then at that moment and the crowd behind us started erupting and applauding.

Even though he may never remember it, I will. I'll never forget this moment.

Then everything faded to black, but then I opened my eye lids again...

My body started to ache, and I have needles and other stuff surrounding my body. Still in a hospital.

I see my mom sleeping on the couch in the room, and also it's pretty dark out. Lucky and his dad are no where to be found, I'll wait till the morning so I can ask my mom all the questions I need answers to...

I closed my eye again, and drifted off to sleep... Zzz... Zzz... Zzz...
