Chapter 84- SOS Message

AC's POV

I've received a text from Lucky. I didn't pull it up at first, because I was busy. I pulled up the text messaging app, and went to Lucky's contact and pulled up the text he sent me.

Dear AC,

I'm sorry about earlier. I'm not actually doing what I said I was doing, I'm making things right for you. So you won't have to deal with this scandal anymore. I've gone to Brace's House to erase the last video they have, and well, receiving this text message either means I've done it and got my self in a jam, or something else could have happened. Either way you'll find out in the SOS recording. I hope it doesn't conclude that this is the last time you'd be hearing from me, but if it is how it is, then so be it. I'm willing to sacrifice my life for you. Hopefully I'd see you again...

Tears just fell down my face, I closed my eyes and I started sobbing. Why... he never had to do that... He could have stayed here with me and we let the police take care of this. I wouldn't care if that video got released on the internet if it had meant Lucky is still with me...

I opened my eyes again, and stared at the screen. There's a 5 second audio recording clipped onto the message as well as the last known location which is Brace's house.

I took all my courage I had into me right now and slowly move my hand and pressed the play button of the recording.

"HEY YOU! HANDS UP!" A man had said.

I heard a smacking noise that sounded like Lucky's Face.

"Boss! We got an intruder!" The man called someone.

"AC, mission... accomplished." I heard Lucky's fainted voice say.

End of Recording

That just made me want to cry even more. Hearing Lucky's voice in that tone. It sounds like he was in pain, and I could feel that pain. The pain my heart is beating inside me. I can't bear with this pain. I fell to the ground and started crying and hugging the ground. This is too much for me...

Lucky's POV

Ugh, Where am I? I can't even see anything because there's a mask covering my head, and I can feel my body in mild pain from getting hit early when I got knocked out.

"Well well, looks like you're awake." A voice said.

Someone had taken the mask off of me, and revealed Brace standing right in front of me.

"Indeed I am." I said to try and act as calm as possible.

"That was a pretty smart move. I have no more videos of that, so I can't be using that as blackmail anymore. You got to have a lot of brain power to have taken down my security because I have a pretty good firewall, and it's not that easy to take down." Brace said.

"Yeah, well I did it." I replied.

"Wrong, you did not. I know you couldn't have, but you'd uploaded a virus onto my computer and also allowed someone else to remotely wipe the video. So who did it?" He asked.

"Someone you wouldn't even know." I smirked.

"Yeah, stop playing cool. Was it AC?" He asked.

"No, she doesn't even know I'm gone." I said.

Well, now she does if she reads the text message.

"Fair enough then, she isn't even that smart anyways." Brace said.

"What did you just say?" I got furious.

"Wala. Didn't say anything." He raised his eyebrow.

"Bullsh*t. You better not be talking like that about AC." I got defensive.

"Or what? What will you do? Your tied to a chair, and you got no help.

"I'll make sure you spend the rest of your life in jail." I said.

They laughed. Sarcastically. "Wait, did you just a say you'll put me in jail?" He smiled.

"Yep, for your whole life." I said.

They laughed again. "Look Lucky, I admire your perseverance, but that's never going to happen. You got no evidence against me, you're not going to escape from here, how exactly do you think I'm going to jail?" He continued laughing.

"That's where you're wrong. I got people who know about this already and could contact police." I said.

"Oh really, You, AC, Awra, and Sam? You guys are no match for my private army let along me.

"Just you wait, you'll not be thriving pretty soon and you'd wish you would have left the Philippines already." I threatened him.

"I'd like to see you guys try." Brace laughed.
