Felicity pov
It was four months till the Invictus games. Harry was very busy with the games. Coach Neal had me training very single day for at least three hours. The qualifications for the games were two months away and I was determined to qualify.Harry and I were taking total advantage of each other, we were both stressed and let's just say the nights were fun.
•••
I woke up in the morning feeling sick. Harry was already gone, so I climbed into my wheelchair and rolled myself to the bathroom where I threw up.
"Felicity are you up?" Martha called.
"In the bathroom." I said then threw up again.
"Hey are you alright?" She asked.
"I'll be fine." I said.
"Felicity your throwing up. Are you sure your alright?" She asked.
I nodded. I rolled past her and grabbed a wash cloth And cleaned my face off.
"Are you sure? You can take a day off if you need to?" Martha said.
"I'm fine I feel better alright." I said.
"Are sure?" She asked.
"I'm sure. Now what's my agenda?" I asked.
"Well you have training this morning with John, then your coming back, and freshening up before we go see Her Majesty. Then you have an engagement after that." Martha said.
I was going to ask her Majesty if I could not cover up my tattoo during the games. Harry had agreed to it and I now needed Her permission.
I washed my face, and then Martha helped me get ready for my morning training. I had a hardy breakfast and then left.
Coach Neal had me running the 800m and the 1500m today. Towards the end of practice I got sick and threw up again. Martha ran over and gave me my towel.
"You okay Felicity?" Coach Neal asked as he rolled over to me.
"I'm fine." I said. I rinsed my mouth out and we went back to training.
Once I was clean after my morning practice. Martha helped me get dressed.
"Alright now we need to go." Martha said. "Alright." I said.
We left and went to Buckingham palace. We were shown to Her Majesty's study.
"Your majesty." I said, as I lowered my head.
"Good afternoon Felicity. How are you?" She asked.
"I'm well, how are you?" I asked as I rolled over to her, Martha stayed near the door.
"I'm doing Well, how is Harry doing? Is he sleeping enough?" She asked.
"He is." I said.
"So what is the pleasure of this visit?" She asked.
"It's about my tattoo. As you well may know the family considers tattoos to be taboo. Yet I have one from when I first joined the military." I said.
"Yes I am aware." She said, I could sense a bit of annoyance in her tone.
"I got the tattoo because my father and grandfather also had that tattoo, they too had gotten it as soon as they joined the military. I spent five years being apart of the military. I see my tattoo as a remembrance of those amazing five years of serving my country. And it reminds me that even though I may not be in the military anymore everything I do still is for Queen and Country." I said.
"I understand, yet why did you come to me today?" Her Majesty asked.
"Because during the Invictus Games I would like to show off my tattoo. And by that I mean to not cover it up." I said.
"Alright, but Kensington nor Buckingham palace will not release statements about your tattoo. So I will leave it up to you to tell the media what you just told me about your tattoo and what it means to you and why you haven't had it removed." Her Majesty said.
"Thank you Your Majesty." I said.
"Your welcome Felicity." She said. I then left and went to my first engagement of the Day.
The rest of the week I was still throwing up in the morning. It reminded me of morning sickness from my last pregnancy so I took a pregnancy test.
I grabbed my phone and called Harry.
"Hey Felicity is this important?" He asked.
"Very. Your going to be a father." I said.
"What?" Harry asked confused.
"I'm pregnant." I said with a smile.
"What really? That's amazing Felicity." Harry said.
"I know I'm really excited." I smiled.
That night when Harry got back, he showered me in kisses.
A month before the games, I had the qualifications.
Harry stood in the shadows, trying to hide from the media who were there covering the qualifications.
I made sure my helmet was fitting correctly, then I then to push my sunglasses up. I fiddled with my gloves till we were told to take our marks. I leaned forward and had my hands on the wheels of my chair. The gun went off and I instantly got into the rhythm of pushing myself forward. My arm muscles screamed at me as I pushed myself forward to keep up with the person in First. I gave one more sting push on my wheels so I could pass them.
I came in first. I shook hands with the other races. My arm muscles were burning. The announcer read out the placings. I'd qualified. I rolled myself over to Harry. He handed me my towel and water bottle. I drank half of the water bottle.
"Great job." Harry said.
"Thank you, it seems like I will be competing In the Invictus games." I smiled.
"I'm so proud of you." Harry smiled.
"Wait," I grabbed his sleeve and pulled him down so I could whisper in his ear. "What about our baby? They'll see my bump." I said.
"Just don't draw any attention to your stomach and I'll see that your cloths for the race a a size up, so their a bit loose." Harry said.
"Thank you." I said as I hugged him again.
Two days later I had the 1500m face and I came in second in that race so I qualified for the games. From here on I would keep training for the games.
