Felicity pov
Martha pushed me down the hallway of the hospital in York. I was wearing a hoodie and I kept my face down till we arrived at my grandad's room. Martha knocked and Clayton opened the door. He didn't say anything he just let us in.I took my hood off when the door was closed.
"Felicity," mum said as she got up.
"I'll be at your home if you need me." Martha said.
"Key is under the mat." Clayton said.
"Thank you." She said then left.
Clayton pushed me over to dad. He was focusly starring at Grandad. "Hey dad." I said as I reached to take his hand.
He looked at me sympathetically. "Harry didn't come?" He asked.
"He couldn't, he's occupied with the Invictus Games." I said.
"But weren't you competing?" Dad asked.
"Not till I broke my arm." I said.
"How did you manage that?" Mum asked.
"In a race that were going on before the ceremony to see who would qualify for the Actual metals. There was a racer who had been taken from the race and moved to the side. I tried to avoid her yet my wheel caught hers and I fell and fractured my ulna." I said.
"Only you would manage to do that." Clayton said.
I smiled. "And how's your baby?" Mum asked.
Dad and Clayton looked confused. "Are you pregnant?" Dad asked.
"I am, twenty weeks." I said as I pulled my sweatshirt up so they could see my baby bump through my t-shirt.
Dad hugged me. "I'm so happy for you." He said.
"Thank you."
"Do you know what your having?" Dad asked.
"No Harry and I want it to be a surprise." I said.
"Well congrats to you and Harry." Clayton said.
"Well enough about my life what's been going on in you and Jamie's life?" I asked."Um nothing much." He shrugged.
"When are you going to propose?" I asked.
"Wait how did you know that? I though I told Harry not to tell you." Clayton asked.
"I have my ways." I smiled.
"He told you didn't he?" Clayton asked.
"He did. And he was texting me the entire time and sending me photos of other jewelry." I smiled.
"That explains why he kept wandering off." Clayton said.
We all stayed the night. Grandad's condition didn't change at all.
I woke up to a phone call. I took my phone out and answered it.
"Hey how's your grandad doing?" Harry asked.
"He's the same. He hasn't woken up. We all spent the night at the hospital. Clayton slept in my wheelchair. I'll have to send you a photo of him." I said softly so I wouldn't wake my family.
"Well I hope he gets better." Harry said.
"Or if it's the Lord's will he may be taken up to be with the Lord." I said as I gripped my phone.
It's not that I wanted my Grandad to die. But I knew he would be suffering tremendously if he survived, but it was all up to the Lord's will.
Clayton shifted in my chair and woke up. "Morning Sis." He said.
