"This device will be attacked to your spine at the sight where you are paralyzed and it will provide the lower half of your body with the brain waves the brain sends it. Therefore providing it with the signals it need to help you walk." The doctor said.
"And why do you want to give it to me?" I asked.
"Do you not want to walk again?" He asked.
"I'd love to, but it's not possible." I said.
"And that's where your wrong. This device can give you the ability to walk again. There are already a hundred people walking due to this device. And none of them have had any problems with it. Our first patient actually had a baby a while ago and she went though her entire pregnancy without any complications."
"Have any of your patients had complications after being installed with your device?" Harry asked.
"no, yes it does take some time for it to start working and then there also learning to walk again. You don't have to give me an answer today, I'll let you two think it over." The doctor said.
"Thank you, we will have our people contact you as soon as we've made our decision." Harry said as he got up.
"It was wonderful to meet with you two. We hope to be hearing from you soon." The doctor said as he shook Harry and I's hands. We left and went back to Kensington.
That night we had dinner with Kate and Will and the kids.
"So how was the meeting?" Kate asked.
"It was good, I hope we can go through with it. I would love to be able to walk again." I said.
"That sounds amazing," Kate said.
"Yes but we want to make sure it works." Harry said.
"He's scared it's a scam and my life could be on the line." I said.
"Well ask for the medical reports from other pacientes and see what their response was to it." Will Said.
"Couldn't the procedure mess up you wanting kids?" Kate asked.
"He said that the first person to receive the implant just had a baby and she didn't have any complications." I said.
"Well it's up to you two to decide on where or not to go through with it." Will Said.
"Mummy messy." Dane held his hand out. He had tomato sauce all over his hands. Harry wiped Dane's hand off for him.

"Felicity come on, it's time to wake up." Harry whispered to me.
We had decided to go through with the surgery and that was happening to day. I sat up,
"let's hope the surgery's a success." I said as Harry brought me my cloths.
"Nothing bad is going to happen to you. I promise," Harry said as he kissed my forehead. I got dressed and then we left.
They took me to a room to prep me for surgery. The doctor explained to us again what was going to happen during the surgery before the anesthesiologist came into prep me for surgery. I reached my free hand over for Harry to take.
"I'll see you when you wake up." He said then kissed my hand.
"See you later," I said as I drifted off.

Harry pov
They brought Felicity back into the room laying on her side. The procedure had taken all day."Mummy!" Dane pointed at Felicity.
"Ya, its Mummy." I said as I put his hand down.
"It's rude to point," I whispered to Dane.
He put his arm down and wrapped it around the stuffed Stitch he'd gotten in Orlando.
Felicity had shown him the Lilo and Stitch movies before our trip, so when we went to Disney World, all he wanted to see was Lilo and Stitch and when we found them, he jumped out of Felicity's lap and ran toward them. I had to abandon my post of pushing Felicity and run after him. I grabbed him as he got to them. He had cut the entire line, I apologized and we then waited in line.
When it was our turn we went up and Dane kept saying Stitch.
"Harry," Felicity moaned taking me away from my memory. I got up and sat Dane in the chair.
"Harry?" She asked again as she held her hand out.
"Hey how do you feel?" I asked.
"My back hurts." She said.
"It'll be sore for a few days." I said as I rubbed her hand.
"Mummy," Dane climbed out of the seat and came over to us, with Stitch in his arms.
"Hey Buddy," Felicity smiled weakly.
"Mummy I brought Stitch for you." He said as he held Stitch up to Felicity.
I sat Stitch on the bed and Felicity smiled at Us.
"That's very sweet of you to share your toys with Mummy, Dane." I said.
He smiled at us.
"He's so precious," Felicity smiled before drifting back off to sleep.
I picked Dane up and we sat back on the chair.
"Is Mummy alright?" Dane asked.
"She's going to be alright. She just has to rest for a while. But once it's all over, mummy's going to be able to walk." I said.
Dane smiled at me. "Yay mummy," he clapped.
I looked over at Felicity and she was smiling at us before closing her eyes again.
They kept Felicity for three days before she was released.
I pushed her into Kensington, "how do you feel?" I asked.
"Better," Felicity said softly.
I kissed her head and pressed the elevator button.
We went upstairs and to our apartment. Will and Kate were there with our children.
"Mummy," Dane ran over and he climbed up on the foot rest of the wheelchair.
"Hey buddy," Felicity said as she put her hand on his cheek.
"I have something for you," she said sweetly yet soft to him.
I gave her her backpack, and she took Stitch out of the bag.
"Thank you so much for letting me barrow Stitch." She kissed his head.
"Your welcome," Dane smiled as Felicity gave him Stitch.
Dane ran back over to his cousins with Stitch in his arms.
"How are Felicity?" Kate asked as she came over to us.
"I'm feeling better." She said as they hugged.
They visited for a while before leaving so Felicity could rest. The medicine she was making her very drowsy. I prayed she would be walking by the new year.
