The next morning I woke up feeling refreshed.  It was still early enough, if I wanted I could sleep in a bit longer but I had the urge to start training and get back into the swing of things after my injury. I got dressed then headed to get something to eat. The mess hall is close to empty again, which I enjoyed. As I'm eating my oatmeal I remembered Eric came by the dorms last night. Jesse was supposed to wake me up to go to his office and never did.  I really don't remember much of what happened except that I woke up to Eric kicking my bed to wake me. Speak of the devils, Eric walks in and our eyes automatically find each another. He immediately goes up the stairs to the second floor. It was kind of like he was trying to avoid me.

"Morning beautiful" Dylan sat down next to me.

"Morning Dylan" I say smiling.

"Your up early" he said with a huge grin on his face as well. "How's your head?"

"It's actually better, thanks for asking"

"Sucks what happened. I must admit, you put up a really good fight" he says trying to butter me up.

"Thanks" I say distracted.

"I came by to see you but Trinity turned me away"

I smiled looking down at my oatmeal "She told me I had some visitors"

"Anyway, how was your little field trip to the fence? Four tell you guys his little "most of you will end up at the fence" speech?"

"Haha, how did you know?" I ask.

"Ehh because it's the same old routine" he says laughing.

"It was actually interesting"

"Interesting how?" He said with a laugh. "It's boring as hell out there".

"I dunno. It was peaceful I guess. Being outside, overlooking the beautiful Amity fields"

He's looking at me like I'm crazed.

"You saying you want to work the fence?"

"Hell no. It just felt good being outside, that's all. It gets a little claustrophobic in here" I say as I brush my spoon across the top of my oatmeal.

I glanced up to see if I could see Eric upstairs. No luck. Why am I even bothering?

I get up to leave "I should get going, I wanted to get to the training room early. See you later Dylan"

"Wait, hold up. Since your still alive don't forget our plans"

I totally forgot I said I would hang out with him. He better not think it's a date.

"Friday we are hanging out" he continued.

"I will see you Friday then" I flash a smile at him before walking right into a hard body.

"Sor-" I cut myself off as I meet blue-gray eyes.

"Watch where your going initiate" Eric growled down at me.

I caught a whiff of his cologne and minty fresh breath. It put me in a slight daze. I quickly recover and walk away from him as fast as I could. When I got to the training room I took my time stretching. I went over to the punching bags to blow off some steam, I had the urge to hit something hard. Just then Aurora quietly made her way in. She looked around awkwardly, like she was afraid to be in here without a trainer.
