I must have fallen sleep within those few minute, the next thing I remembered was being laid down on a soft bed. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Eric unlacing my boots. He then proceeds to take my jacket and then my pants off.

"What do you think your doing?" I snapped, stopping him.

"Do you want to sleep comfortably or not?"  He said annoyed.

I was beyond tired and honestly didn't care anymore, so I let him. He placed his comforter over me and and walked into the bathroom. I laid there, starring at the door as I heard the shower go on. I wrapped my arms around myself, trying to feel something other then the empty feeling in my heart. When Eric finally appears from the bathroom he's wearing only a pair of sweatpants.

"Why aren't you sleeping?" He asked as he flips back the covers on his side.

"I can't. My mind...won't switch off. I keep seeing her body. . ."

I couldn't stop my voice from shaking.

"Do you want something?" He asked slowly.

"I- I want it all to go away" I whimper as I start to softly cry.

Great, just what I didn't want to do, especially in front of Eric. He huffs before he gets up and goes back into the bathroom. I could hear him searching through his cabinets for something. He walks out, holding a small capped vile. It looked like there was fluid inside.

"Take this"

"What is it?"

"It will make everything go away" He traces my jawline, then runs his finger under my bottom lip.

"Will it make me dream?"

Eric raises an eyebrow "Probably not"

Good, I didn't want to have any dreams tonight, especially of Kylie. I nod and with that he uncaps the vile. Leaning on his elbow next to me he brings it to my lips, slowly tilting the contents into my mouth.

"Just a couple of drops" he says softly.

A drop trickles down the corner of my mouth and he leans in, licking his way back to my lips. I could already feel the euphoric effects of the serum throughout my body. I felt weightless, as if I was floating. Eric must feel something too since his eyes are slightly dilated.

"Do you want me to help you Kate?" He whispers.

"Help me?" I ask confused.

"I can help take away your pain"

"You can?"

"Yes" He leans in and presses his lips against mine.

I open my mouth to allow him to swirl his tongue against mine, trying to get more of the serum. I feel so much more relaxed and sigh, pulling on the back of his neck as he positions himself over me. My legs part to allow him to settle between them.

"Make it go away. . . Please" I whisper.

His eyes darkened as he gazed down at me, that hungry, greedy look of desire entering them. That look was always so hot. He reaches between us, his movements slowed and messy as he pushes down his sweat pants and frees himself. He pulls the crotch of my panties to the side and pushes inside me slowly.
