Addiction

Love is (like most other drugs)

anywhere, but (love is,) not

everywhere (per say,)

The heart (not easily quenched)

decides without one's foremost consent (and)

It beats strong (for only one,)

slow to still (one's heart

may be,) for eyes that capture (and,)

for lips that beckon (with that,),

you're addicted.

A/N: I'm really proud of this poem. Check out the homemade banner on the side! External link: link to my banner page at my blog; scroll all the way down to see a little description about my Addiction banner and click the pic to see a larger version of it.

And now that you're done reading, why don't you go back and do these ↓? I highly suggest you do both ;)

~Read only what's italisized.

~Read only what's not in paranthesis.

I tell you this because this poem's designed to be read as one (all regular and parenthesis and italics) and as each of the above as well. Tell me if you like that, if all three "poems" make sense, and anything else!

~SD

P.S. I may be even offering virtual cookies to anyone who reads all three poems...!

P.S.S. Alternatively, I also offer a free cover or banner making session...!!
