True Self: Part II

Lauren's POV

I paced around Camila's living room whoever the other girls are trying to get me to stop moving so they can watch a movie in peace.

"Oh for crying out loud! How am I suppose to calm down when my precious baby girl is out there, all alone in the dark, cold night?!? Something bad might happen to her and I didn't know!!" I panicked and stopped.

"Wait.... What if she exploded?" I asked them. The girls turned to look at me with their eyed widen. "What?"

"What if... She already did something? What if she finally exploded?" I asked. "You don't know that Lauren" Ally assured me. "I'm her best friend and her girlfriend, I'm suppose to help her even at times like this" I said.

There was a knock on the door which Ally volunteered to open. "Honey, the point of being a best friend or girlfriend is by helping them even if you're not with them" Camila said.

Once Ally opened the door, she gasped. A police officer walked inside the house, followed by Y/N. Her outfit was not the same as earlier: a navy blue off shoulder shirt, black jacket with hoodie, black ripped jeans and black ankle length boots. She has her black leather bag on her back and her blonde hair was a mess.

She looks really pissed. Besides all that, I ran towards her. "Y/N!" I exclaimed and pulled her into my arms. But she didn't hug back.

"Y/N, where were you? I was so worried" I told her. She only bit her lip in response.

I kissed her temple, but she looked down to the ground.

"Wait, what's going on here?" Dinah asked. "What did you do Y/N?" Camila asked. "New York code 145" the police officer replied. "Vandalism!" Ally gasped. "What?" the other girls exclaimed.

"Baby girl...." I muttered. "You. You did this" Y/N hissed and charged towards me but the police officer held her back. "Put me in jail for the rest of my life but don't allow visitors or else she'll come and bring me a stupid lemon meringue pie!!"

I gasped at her. "Y/N, what has gotten into you?"

"She destroyed New York's public park. I arrested multiple people who vandalised that park, but none of them were worst as her" the police officer informed.

"I'm sorry" Y/N mumbled. "You all care about this girl?" he asked and we all nodded. "Well then, looks like we're gonna have a little field trip" he said and we all followed him to the park.

"You did this" Y/N hissed at me before we exited the room. "What? But I wasn't even with you" I told her. She scoffed, "Yeah. You were" she coldly replied and walked away.

*Time Skip*

We arrived the park and we all gasped at what Y/N just did. There were random words on the wall.

The walls were spray painted, the plants were cut down, there were paints and silly strings everywhere, there was a hammer stuck against a wall.

"I had a brick in my hand" Y/N spoke after a few minutes of silence. "Why?" I asked. "Because someone went after you" she spoke softly. "Who, Y/N?" Camila added.

Y/N took a deep breath before continuing. "These two girls I used to know. I could have been them... Lauren I would have been them. But I'm not, because they think a hammer and a brick makes you strong. As much as I wanted to throw a brick through a window, I know that if I did that, that's what would make me weak" she explained while staring into my eyes. "I'm strong because there's something inside me that stops me now. It knows how important you've been in my life and it'll never let me do any real damage as long as I live" she smiled.

I smiled as well. "I'm just glad you didn't do anything bad"

"Yeah" she sighed. "We're proud of you Y/N" Ally spoke. "Wait, what happened to the two girls?" Dinah asked.

"Oh, well, I might have had a brick and a hammer, and I might have swung them over my head a little bit and ran, like, right towards 'em like I was Y/N" Y/N answered while nervously rubbing the back of her neck.

"So you're Y/N again?" Camila smiled. "Yeah... Seems like it" Y/N smirked.

The police officer walked up to us. "Are you gonna put me to jail?" Y/N asked. "No... But I'm gonna write that down. New York code 145, vandalism" he replied. "Yeah I'm gonna write it down, and put it in a folder. And I'm gonna misplace the folder" he smiled.

We all smiled at him, "Really!?"

"Yes... I'm doing you girls a favor" he smiled.

I ran up and gave him a hug. "Thank you! Thank you so much!!!"

I pulled away and ran back to Y/N where I gave her a tight hug. "I'm glad you're okay" I whispered.

"I know...."

We pulled away and I pulled her face and gave her a passionate kiss.
