Chapter 10

Aiden's POV

I walked out of Simon's classroom and closed the door behind me, Just begging for today to send me a reason to be happy. Between Cal coming here now, More than likely working Mitch under his little finger. Or at least someone under his control like he always does. And then now with fucking Minter telling me to grow up, Yeah, I know I need to grow up, Yeah I know I need to let myself let someone in. But seriously, Right now, Can I actually do that. He fucking... did things, Horrible things, it was never just rape. It was always something else. If I had told him, it wouldn't have ended well for anyone.

Vik: "WHAT THE FUCK MINTER!"

I damn near jumped out of my skin Hearing Vik scream like that. I didn't even know he had it in him. I turned back to see the door still thoroughly closed before hearing a loud thump, I went to walk up to check it but...

Josh: "Aiden what are you doing here? Class doesn't start for another hour."

Aiden: "S-Sorry Josh, I mean Mr Bradley."

Josh: "It will take some time to get use to calling sun by our last names here, But trust me, It will get easier. But what are you doing?"

Aiden: "I was with Mr Minter sir, I needed help because, I felt a panic attack. But I ran to him because I had my first class. And he and I talked about..."

Should I tell him? No he will probably hate me. Maybe even kick me out so that Cal can have a shot at finishing his education, I already failed so I guess it would make sense right? I looked down at my skirt and noticed it had folded upwards a little. I quickly smoothed it out before turning back to Josh. His eyes watching me curiously.

Josh: "Aiden?"

Vik: "YOU CAN'T JUST..!"

I panicked when I heard Vik scream again, This time Josh was here and witnessed it. He walked over to me and ushered me outside. Trying to keep my pace and get me out of there quickly.

Josh: "Aiden you shouldn't be in here. I'll talk to them ok. Find out what's going on."

Aiden: "Sir I know it's about me."

Josh: "Hm, LACHLAN!"

I heard him scream before looking in the same direction, Seeing the tall semi Australian student walking over. He was smiling but it faded when he saw me, I tried to put on a brace face but I couldn't. Crumbling when he instantaneously through his arms around me.

Lachlan: "Hey breathe for me, Relax mate I gotcha."

Josh: "Lachlan I believe he has been caught in the middle of a rather unimportant scuffle. If you could please, take him and just keep him safe and out of harms way."

Lachlan: "Yes sir, I'll keep him away from everyone as well."

Josh: "If anything happens, you have my permission to ring his sister, Freya, And organize to take him home? In fact I don't believe he should be here at all. Not lately anyway."

Aiden: "What? No I can't leave. I need to finish."

Josh: "With Callum here I am running out of options."

Aiden: "Wait what?"

Josh: "You panicked at home on Saturday while Simon, Ethan, Vik and I were there. You kept screaming and thrashing about to stop then you said Callum. I shit myself and panicked, almost losing Mr Airey as a teacher, thank god he understood my caution otherwise I'd have lost a bloody good teacher."
