Aiden's POV

I walked into school on the Friday with Mitch beside me, even though the experiment may be over, he still insisted on me staying with him last night. And because Freya doesn't mind of course, she told me to enjoy being a kid. And I did enjoy myself. Video games till about 10 until his mom told us to go to bed. Then he wore his usual boxers with no shirt, and I swear I could have died when we both got into bed and he wrapped his arm around me, pulling me close to him, kissing the back of my neck. To anyone else, you would think we were dating. But to us, we were just... Close.

Mitch: "What are you smiling about?"

I looked over at him and saw that signature smirk, the one that pulled me in when we first met, and the one that made me want to give him a second chance, I guess it was the least I could do for someone that genuinely wanted to stop what he was doing, it still surprised me when he said he liked me. That he was scared and didn't know how to react, that he thought bullying me was a great way to try and get rid of those feelings but he hated himself and stopped. Carly and her friends still try and start shit but the others are OK. Except for the days of the week bullshit that is still circulating. Michael still refuses to talk to Jay and even Kaila has come back to sit with us at break, having given up on trying to find a middle ground to try and break even with the boy. And Jay was still devastated. Lachlan and Landon still have their differences since the two were adopted. And Preston is still going around fucking... Everything. He tried to get with me but Mitch shoved him away, wrapping his arms around me and I think he gave Preston the ultimate death glare, Making sure the man walked away.

Aiden: "I'm just smiling about everything going on right now. Though the whole Friday thing scares me, that's today and I don't know what's going on still."

Mitch: "Maybe it's nothing important and the rumors have just got to Mr Lewis?"

Aiden: "Maybe, but he seemed so serious."

When I told Mitch what happened he seemed angry, but not at Vik or Harry, But at the rumors for hurting people even though he had tried to make them stop. He was angry at Harry for scaring me a little.

As we walked on and into the school grounds, I was about to walk past the group until I noticed Michael sitting on the ground, head in his hands while Jay was trying to comfort him. They both looked so broken and I wanted nothing to do with it. I kept walking to see everyone looking around. As soon as they saw me it was like shit hit the fan.

Kaila: "Where the hell have you been?"

Aiden: "I just got here."

Lachlan: "That's not good enough, did you find anything?"

Aiden: "I just walked in the gates, literally right now. What the fuck is going on?"

They all looked between each other cautiously, as if scared to say anything.

Mitch: "What's going on guys come on?"

Lachlan: "It's nothing. We see where your loyalties lie."

I was almost hurt by those words, as if he wasn't saying it to me but at me. I watched as most of them got up and walked away, Leaving Rob and Jerome sitting there and waiting.

Aiden: "Please?"

Rob: "They will hate me for not walking away with them but Aiden, please be careful. They are upset over new rumors. Only this one is holding more truth than lie. Saying you have been cheating on Vik with Mitch. I know it's not true because while you may be with Mitch, you were never with Vik right? Just be careful. A lot of people are bringing evidence of this. Photos, videos, everything. It's a bit on the scary side how much people can photoshop so just be careful Ok?"
