Awkward moment when you are Goodland images to find a good media for the chapter and the image you click on, gives the description for one of your books... I don't know whether to be scared or excited.

Aiden's POV

We didn't talk again about the kiss, all through dinner, all through the evening while playing games he had, all through the night and even when we went to bed, in the same bed mind you, I just felt safer with him holding me. Like it felt right. And now, driving to school, well Mitch is driving but I'm just here, existing.

Mitch: "Never thought I would be so happy to go to school."

Aiden: "Why do you say that?"

Mitch: "Well I know this guy, he's really cute and a great cuddler."

Aiden: "He sounds like a dream."

Mitch: "If he is a dream, I never want to wake up."

I couldn't help but blush at his words, he had been like it since yesterday. Being all cute and shit suits him, at least more so than hurting others, I don't think that suits anyone except maybe Carly, Bitch.

Mitch: "We have class together in 5th period, but until then stick close to your friends Yeah? I'm still working on convincing Carly not to bully you or your friends, what I did was wrong and I know this, I want to make you happy and feel safer at school. The least I can do is use the schools influence I have to make them stop."

Aiden: "People bully for a multitude of reasons Mitch, because they don't like someone all the way to getting revenge on a false target through bad Intel. I'm not stupid Mitch, even if you say something, what's to stop them doing it behind your back. And what about Seth as well?"

I heard him sigh before I looked over and saw his beautiful smile, He should smile more. After a few more minutes we pulled into the school and I noticed him watching me, I turned my head to see him staring at me with a worried look.

Aiden: "Are you Ok?"

Mitch: "I'm Ok, what about you though?"

Aiden: "I'm fine, why do you ask?"

Mitch: "Are you sure? You are wearing pants today."

I looked down and noticed my legs covered in the semi thick fabric running over my legs to my feet. I took another look at Mitch before sighing deeply.

Aiden: "I'm fine, I promise. Just a bit stressed I guess."

Mitch: "Yeah I know that feeling, hey why don't you go ahead, I'm going to park properly and then start working on Carly Ok?"

Aiden: "Sure, I'll see you later."

I waved him off before grabbing my bag and hopping out of the car, closing it firmly before making my way downtown, walking fast, faces past and I'm home bound... The fuck?

Preston: "Hey."

Aiden: "Hey Preston, why are you here instead of waiting at the table or the usual spot?"

Preston: "I just thought maybe my best friend could use some company."

I looked at him with the most unamused look I could muster while he chuckled nervously.

Preston: "Michael got in a fight already, I kind of don't want to be around it."

Aiden: "Did someone steal his cube?"

Preston: "Actually no, Lachlan said that he wasn't good enough for Jay, I think he did it on purpose too."

Aiden: "The three of them are Australian, what the hell? Why would that make you walk away?"
