Chapter 32

Aiden's POV

Half way through Simons class, I started to really pay attention to those around me and it was a slightly frightening idea, Chris with the football thing. The teachers were in on it as well as they were the team to beat. But looking around the class it hit me that everyone has their own lives, everyone has their own story, and shit can be happening to them as well, at any point in time. Bridget's boyfriend could have broken up with her recently, Victors dad could have died. Fucking Jessica could have lost her j wait a minute she's in this class. I watched her turn to look at me before putting her hand up.

Simon: "Yes Jess what's up?"

Jessica: "I thought school was supposed to be a place of learning and a place where students could feel safe and relaxed?"

Simon: "Yes of course it is, as teachers we will always have our students futures and best interests at heart. Our students safety is always our top pri..."

Jessica: "So then what the hell is Aiden doing here?"

Simon: "I'm sorry."

Aiden: "I second that."

Jessica: "He has targeted me outside of school and made me feel embarrassed. I even lost my job because he told my boss I was homophobic and used horrible language that I don't even want to repeat."

Aiden: "Are you fucking kidding me."

Simon: "Aiden?"

Aiden: "Yep nope, don't worry, I'd believe someone who was as stupid as her and was currently dating someone that has been obsessed with me since we started here, and oh don't  worry sir, I also fully agree with supporting her because she is female and naturally the women are always right."

Simon: "Aiden..."

Aiden: "And don't get me started on the fact your boyfriend sent his friends to beat up and lock up my friends and get them into situations that would cause them to be charged as criminals but oh no a random faggot appeared and you didn't fucking like it..."

Simon: "AIDEN!"

Aiden: "Fucking what now."

Simon: "Language."

Jessica: "Is that all?"

Simon: "I'm not stupid Jess I know what you are like. And with Mitch's obvious obsession with bullying specifically Aiden and his friends I'd be more concerned about your boyfriend."

God I love my teachers, I'm so glad they aren't as stupid as everyone thinks they are.

Jessica: "This is outrageous, I should go and speak to Mr Bradley about you."

Simon: "Go ahead and leave but as soon as you leave my class I'll be writing you up for skipping class after being a disruption to my students learning. Make the decision now because I won't tolerate your accusations and manipulative behaviors in my class or directed at one of my students."

I watched as she turned to glare at me, mouthing a simple "I'll get you" before turning back to face the front of class. Honey I just found my mates closest friend is fucking bat shit insane and almost killed a man for laying a finger on Jay, I doubt you will last but go ahead.

Chris: "You ok?"

Aiden: "Fine. Sorry. It's been a tough week."

Chris: "Hey its fine, Look I've been thinking."

Aiden: "I'm still not playing football."

Chris: "Right, sorry."

We sat in a comfortable silence as the class droned on, With Chris's happiness getting too much at one stage I told him a bad joke just to stop him from literally bouncing in his seat and causing the metal to scrape along the ground every time he got slightly excited. Eventually though, the bell had rung to signal the end of class and I was great full to see Lachlan and Kaila in front of me waiting out the front of history with JJ. He was clearly meant to be doing PE but I don't know. He somehow manages to make the most boring subject in the school likable.
