Chapter 35

Aiden's POV

As I watched Seth walk off, fury laced his emotions. I couldn't help but just stare at his back, Mitch curled up in a ball in front of me, Kaila and Michael trying to help him and me at the same time while Vik just stood to the side.

Aiden: "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!"

I picked myself up off the ground and found Vik in front of me. His hands on my shoulders.

Vik: "I need you. To go back to class and let me handle it."

Aiden: "No one is handling shit right now. What the fuck has been going on?"

I watched Kaila pick up Mitch and help him walking along while Vik let go of me and just watched me before walking away. Michael still sat cross legged on the ground playing with his toy still.

Aiden: "Do you know what happened?"

Michael: "No. I was too busy with Jay yesterday. He took me to see a movie. I didn't really like it because it made me cry, but he got me a drink when I got thirsty as long as I promised him not to move from my seat and because I didn't finish my drink he took it home with me. Mums nice... I want a hammock at home. Aiden do you think I should get a hammock? Wait no I can't get a hammock we don't have room outside. I could get one inside. No then I'd need the poles. Can I get a water bed?"

I just watched him as he went from one conversation to the next with absolutely no regard to what anyone else around him thought. And considering it was just me, I was very confused.

Michael: "I don't like Carly she's a meanie."

Aiden: "Carly what about her?"

Michael: "Jay saw her yesterday with Preston. He said they looked like they were having fun. But I don't like her. I can't hit a girl can I. She's a bully and I don't like her."

I walked off before going to the principals office which was my original intention before seeing Mitch. As I knocked on the door, Josh opened it up and let me in, looking at me with a glare.

Aiden: "Seeing as you are the principle do you want to tell me what happened? Cos last I checked shit has gone down and I'm at the epicenter."

Josh: "I'd like to know why you tried to assault Mr Hughes?"

Aiden: "Oh please I wasn't going to hurt him. I just needed to know why someone who was so hell bent on getting with me, who then told me he could fix me, and then turn into a massive cunt..."

Josh: "Language."

Aiden: "... Now has a massive thing for me and is scared out of his mind whenever I get close. Clearly something happened yesterday and Michael doesn't know anything because he was with Jay but saw Preston and Carly together. I know you were with Freya yesterday so did you see anything odd that may have been considered weird?"

Josh: "Even if I did I wouldn't tell you. Aiden in the past week you have been accused of so much shit that I've honestly just about given up."

Aiden: "You are going to tell me what happened or I swear to God I'll find someone who will."

Josh: "I don't get involved with my students love lives. If it was to bring harm to another student then yes I would have to interfere."

Aiden: "Good, I'll be back in ten minutes."

Josh: "What?"

I walked out of the office and down the steps, heading back to my English class. When I stepped in I walked right over to Jessica, grabbing her bag and running. I know Ethan would try to stop me or tell me to stop but he wasn't really doing good much. As I sprinted back to Josh's class. I don't know why I said ten minutes until I felt the presence of someone watching me. I turned to see Fischer joining Jess in running after me. Just what I needed, more of them, and literally... Wait didn't he go home after Michael clocked him? I mean he does have a strip over his nose so maybe he didn't break it.

Aiden: "Aw you guys love me so much you are chasing after me."

Jess: "GIVE IT BACK!"

Aiden: "Not till you admit Mitch still likes me."

I turned to see her stop running, causing Fischer to stop as well. That pretty much confirmed those suspicions.

Aiden: "How long has Mitch been using you as his girlfriend when your boyfriend is right there? Or has Mitch told you he needed you for other things?"

Jess: "Look Aiden I don't want to do this. And I know how protective Ben here gets so can you please just stop with the childish bullshit."

Aiden: "Well considering everything going that has happened I'd say being childish is all I can do in order to win now a days. Now. I'll ask again. Tell me what's going on with Mitch. Or better yet, why is Carly and Preston all of a sudden good friends?"

Jess: "Right, Carly and Preston I don't know. But Mitch has been bummed since you rejected Him."

Aiden: "Is that all... Are you fucking kidding me."

Jess: "He thought you would get jealous if you saw him with someone else."

Are you fucking kidding me? All this shit is going on because he's fucking jealous. For fuck sake this is fucking elementary.

Aiden: "Are you joking? Please tell me you are fucking joking because this shit is ridiculous."

Fischer: "Tell Michael to stay away from me. And he won't get no trouble."

Jess: "I'm sorry it's not some grand scheme like he's going to start killing people to get to you, or he will organize an elaborate trap to catch you, but sometimes people just get jealous and do stupid shit."

Aiden: "OK I get that but fucking hell. This needs to stop now."

Jess: "I got a text from him not long ago. Kaila took him up to the nurses office, Apparently you really scared him. I'm not interested in him at all but he does still run this school so be careful, and besides, go easy on the guy. He's just jealous yeah? Of you talk to him about it, about you and Vik. Not do anything drastic, he might back off."

Aiden: "I'm still fucking pissed that all it is is him being jealous."

Jess: "Why are you pissed?"

Aiden: "Because normally it's some massive elaborate bullshit thing like Aw I had a bully and you look like him therefore I hate you, my dad died when I was young and I became a cunt to get over it. I had a brother that wasn't born yet but died and caused mum to have an abortion. Like what the fuck? He's just jealous. That's fucked."

Jess: "I know you won't believe me but be nice to him. He's a good kid just... He doesn't know what to do when he doesn't get his way Ok?"

Aiden: "He fucking hurt us, my friends, he used you to get back at me. Does that not make you slightly angry?"

Jess: "Of course it does, but at the end of the day. I have Ben here with me and that's all I need. He knew about what Mitch wanted and helped."

Aiden: "And what about him attacking my friends?"

Fischer: "Those guys are psychotic. The only good one is fucking Jay, Kaila and Ryan. I love that little guy. The rest are all horrible people."

Aiden: "Get to know them."

Jess: "Believe me. We tried."

Aiden: "This still doesn't answer what happened yesterday. Everything has changed guys. This is kind of stupid."

Fischer: "You want to know what happened yesterday? Ask Mitch, or even Vik. Seems he hadn't got the tightest lips out there right now."

Aiden: "What?"

Jess: "Talk to Mitch first. Threaten the truth out of him and then talk to Vik. Just trust me. OK?"
