Chapter 34

Aiden's POV

I need to sort something out. All through Maths, I would look over at Mitch and sometimes I would catch him looking at me before he would turn his head, the odd blush arising on his cheeks and I couldn't get the idea out of my head. If he likes me or has a crush why is he instigating all the bullying. At the end of class, as soon as the bell had rung, I watched him, Without moving my seat, pack his stuff and then walk out the door as quickly as he could. I looked over at Chris as he looked at me and shrugged.

Chris: "Don't take this the wrong way. But maybe you should talk to him about it?"

Aiden: "Yeah I'm going to talk to him about it. To the guy that has put us through hell. Told me I could be fixed... Not happening Chris."

I packed my shit and walked out of class, but I barely took a few steps before pushing forced up against the wall by one of that group of friends.

Aiden: "And you are?"

????: "that's not important. What's important is you need to fucking leave Mitch alone you hear me. No looking at him or talking to him because we know what you are onto Aiden. And we know what people like you are like. Tell your mates to leave him alone you got it?"

Aiden: "What?"

????: "Don't play dumb Aid..."

Aiden: "No you don't understand, he's been the one hurting me and my friends, it's only been today I catch him looking at me and he is blushing when he looks away. I didn't even know he's being bullied, no one deserves to go through it."

????: "You don't know?"

Aiden: "Don't know what?"

Tobi: "Aiden I can hear you outside here what's going on."

????: "You watch yourself Nightingale. Keep you and your friends away from him you got it?"

When he walked off, Tobi was looking at me funny before I shrugged.

Tobi: "You OK?"

Aiden: "Yeah fine. Tobi can I see you at Lunch for something?"

Tobi: "Yeah I guess. I'll message Ethan and I'll see him at break. Just come to the class and I'll be here."

Aiden: "Thank you sir."

Tobi: "Hey remember."

Aiden: "Right. Sorry Tobi it's been instilled in me for a long time."

Tobi: "I'll see you later mate."

As I started my walk towards English. I got a little worried. Trying to think about shit but, that guy.

Aiden: "Tobi who was that guy that grabbed me?"

Tobi: "Oh James? He's a good kid but he's loyal, I've never seen him take matters into his own hands so whatever you did was big."

Aiden: "I don't know what I did though?"

Tobi: "Well hey Just get to class and try and focus on the work, I'll talk to you later OK?"

Aiden: "Yeah OK, Thanks Tobi."

As soon as I turned away I heard the bell ring to start the other class. Might as well use this time to get a drink before walking into Ethan's class. After spending five minutes getting a drink of water, I walked into class to see Ethan speaking.

Ethan: "Nice of you to join us."

Aiden: "Sorry, Tobi wanted to talk to me about my assessment, apparently I need help with Pythagoras..."
