What if she was actually an Angel sent to give me love?

A/N: Warning! Contains graphic scenes of bullying and harassment. Play the song when it comes to Wednesday in the story. P.S. I am completely in love with Ed Sheeran's songs, they're absolutely amazing. This one is one of my favorites.

It was hard, being in high school where nobody really liked the way he was. Even though he was always this sweet, innocent boy full of life, who didn't want to hurt anyone, he was still struggling to survive in the halls of his school. Who would've thought that the boy who played a quarterback in his high school's football team, the boy who should've had hundreds of fans, followers and friends would've been bullied by his own team?

Monday, 10:55 a.m.

You were casually strolling down the hallways of your high school in center of Amsterdam with your two best friends, trying to get to your lockers to grab your books and head to your next class. Since all three of you had lockers at different parts of the hallway, you had to split up for a bit. Yours was right next to the door of the Chemistry classroom, so it wasn't the best place to be at when the other students launched themselves out of the classroom into the hallway, since they would always bump into you without watching and make all of your books fall out of your hands. It was awfully quiet at Mondays, since some students had practice the first few periods, the others had classes before you and a lot of the other students just skipped class since the teachers were mostly careless at Mondays. Now, the only sound surrounding you was the one your locker made when you tried to unlock it. When it opened, the screeching noise filled your ears and made your bristle. Damn hundred year old lockers at public schools. The hallways were mostly empty, only a few students who had one period free just like you sat on the floor and talked or listened to some music while drawing. No big deal, just a regular Monday. Until...

-You?! A DJ?! Oh fuck off, you can't even lift a DJ booth, not to mention mix songs. - you could hear a loud male voice coming from behind the closed door of the Chemistry lab. - You hear this Mario? The boy wants to become a superstar.

-How would you know Daniel, you've never listened to me. - another voice replied. This one was much softer and sweeter, though it was still male.

-Because you're a fucking loser Martijn, nobody wants to listen to you! - the harsher voice boomed through the silence once again. You slowly approached the door and carefully leaned your ear onto them so you could hear what was happening. - You can't even kick a ball right! - you could hear a third voice laughing hysterically at the other boy's statement although there was nothing funny there. You were never to type of person to meddle into other people's business or eavesdrop, but you had a feeling this Martijn guy was in trouble.

Suddenly, instead of exchanged words, you could hear some kicks and punches being exchanged between somebody, chairs and desks screeching and finally some groaning. You connected the dots and realized there was a fight happening in there and there was no one to separate the boys who were causing trouble, so you decided to risk it and enter the room, hoping they would stop. You opened the door so quickly and so suddenly that they almost hit the wall and fell off. The two boys turned their heads towards the door, immediately stopping with the violence. At first you didn't recognize the face of the boy who was getting ready to throw another punch at the other boy on the floor, but you recognized the poor, helpless boy who laid desperate and hurt. You had a few classes together, but you always seemed to forget his name. Until now.

-What the hell are you guys doing?! - you almost screamed at them. The third boy who sat on the desk and cheered for the bully got down and walked slowly towards you.
