Chapter 211: Arcane Crafting

After classing up Xuelian and I went out to hunt and level up. After coming back to town, we ate dinner and stopped by Cyrus' shop to buy items and upgrade gear. From there we went to find Agimund. His house was toward the edge of town.

Entering inside, we were greeted by a dimly lit room with candles lining the walls. Towards the back end of the room sat Agimund cross legged pouring over a book in his hands. My guess was those were the research notes we retrieved for him.

Approaching him a prompt appeared.

As to not break Xuelian's sense of role-playing I opted to speak to him instead of pushing yes on the prompt.

"Oh hello, it's good to see you again. Is there any way I can be of service?"

Another prompt appeared asking about crafting items. I asked him about crafting equipment from «cores» and «hearts».

Gameplay wise «cores» and «hearts» are the same thing; story wise they two are different objects. «Hearts» are dropped by humanoids, mostly like one of the four races. «Cores» are exclusively dropped by inhuman creatures.

"I see, do you possess any «cores» or «hearts» saturated in strength?"
