Chapter 366: Artistic Skill

Walking down the stairs we approached the counter where holly was standing.

"Hi Holly, we wanted like to buy some «artes»."

"Oh yes, please do. I'm so very glad the light of the [Memoria Jewels] has returned again."

[Memoria Jewels] are the in-game items for learning «artes». These items are described as Gems made from the Memoria Flower, that can store the Physical memories of someone.

By equipping them to a weapon. A person can feel out how techniques are performed and reproduce them. By using the gems over and over a player can eventually memorize and master the «arte».

A menu appeared in front of me listing every «arte» I could learn. As a [Magus] I could learn three basic spells:

- [Aschè Arrow], a spell that produces a magic arrow, that flies toward the target after a moment.

- [Ignis Fatuus], a spell that summons several magic orbs that produce light and can either be set to slowly restore «Health» or drift toward any nearby enemy and explode in proximity to them.

- [Oust], a spell that produces a magical barrier, that reduces all incoming damage.

I chose to buy all three.
