Chapter 285: The Hollowed Mound

Xuelian and I entered the cavern, the name read [Hollowed Mound] The entrance was narrowed and We had to inch forward little by little. Eventually we hit a sudden drop which caused us to slide a good twenty or thirty feet down what felt like a nearly vertical drop.

We both received a small amount of fall damage, reducing our «Health» by about ten percent. Xuelian had landed on top of me which added to my damaged received.

"Xuelian, you okay?"

"Yeah I'm good."

Xuelian, and I stood up brushing ourselves off.

The entire cavern was pitch black, I took out a torch to light the way. We moved forward finding very little resistance; almost completely nonexistent.

We only encountered a handful of monsters most of them being random insect types. We soon discovered a [Crystal Spring], and nearby a corpse with several torches on it.

After a short rest we continued on, eventually coming across another [Kailesid]. We powered through the «Mini-boss», and into the next room, which to our surprise was sealed behind us with a barrier. Around the room were large piles of treasure.

The room was completely dark, we then heard a roar from above.
