Chapter 358: A Tiny Light in the Night

I stood and walked over to the source of the light. There in a pedestal made of what looked to be vines spiraled together, was a cracked sphere giving off a soft glow. Touching the sphere, it shattered into tiny pieces.

A bright light expanded out, engulfing my field of vision. When I could see again. I saw floating around me a [sprite], a small, winged creature appearing like a tiny ball of light that of increased the stats of the player it belonged to.

A pop up appeared in front of me.

{Choose one of the following sprites:}

- [Dragon]

- [Phoenix]

- [Chimera]

- [Liger]

- [Pegasus]

Of the five options I chose the [Phoenix], which then lead me to another three options.

{Choose one of the following:}

- [Phoenix: Fire Phoenix]

- [Feng: Light Phoenix]

- [Huang: Dark Phoenix]

Of those three choices I chose the [Huang] a dark elemental Phoenix, one that would have a big effect on increasing my «intelligence», «spirit», and «dexterity» stats.

After I had made my choice, I received another pop up.

{Received: [Core of Soth], 100 [Kae].}

A second later I received another pop up.
