Chapter 268: Dark Intentions

Those who were detained were separated into two groups.

The first group was those who tried to surrender immediately; they were charged with harassment according to a list of violations within the «Tome of Marks», and promptly let go. They would have to pay a fine to enter any town.

The second group was those that actively attacked others, and «PK'ed». these players were charged with harassment, Assault, and «Player Killing», these players were painfully sent to jail.

After everything was said and done, we went to the front. We then learned what had happened.

Arthorias asked all players to stand down, and they would be given a simple harassment violation. At first many players tried to surrender, however as they tried to leave, they were attacked, and «PK'ed» by several hostile players. These players then declared they would never back down to Arthorias' tyranny.

With that Arthorias was left with little choice but to act.

When we were free to leave, I felt something tingle up the back of my spine.

That feeling when you're being watched.

I turned around, and for a brief second, I caught a glimpse of someone in the woods and felt a killing intent.
