Chapter 289: Lingering Doubts

Xuelian and I wandered around that cavern for awhile looking for a way out eventually we found a path hidden in the darkness of the cavern. Eventually we were able to make out, with the exit being on the side of the mound.

We stopped by the outpost to rest for a bit. I took a look at the sword that received, and read over its flavor text.

Every since I picked up the sword something, there was a nagging feeling in the back of my head something was off.

I couldn't place my finger on it but it was still bugging me, though I kept in the back of my head, I wanted to be sure before I said something to Xuelian.

After resting up we went back to [Finvarath], after getting to town I decided to say something. Even if I was off there was no harm in voicing my concerns.

"Hey Xuelian."

"Yes Tsubasa."

"Something's been bothering me for a bit. I don't think that sword is the one we need."

Xuelian tilted her head to the side, "Hmm, I think so too."

"What?"

"Tsubasa I agree with you, I don't think that's the sword we need."
