Xuelian and I looked at each other for what felt like an eternity, not a single word spoken between us.
"I'm sorry," I apologized.
"For what?" Xuelian replied.
"For earlier. I felt frustrated, I didn't anything to help."
"Don't worry about it, this tournament is just for fun, it doesn't matter if we win."
Xuelian spoke so innocently, and so confidently. Nothing shakes her.
I can't even compare to her.
She's so much better than me in every way.
All I'm doing is holding her back.
If I wasn't here then, then she would probably beaten the first boss by now.
What good am I? Why am I continuing to be her partner? Why did she choose me, out of every player here?
I'm not special, just a weakling.
What right do I have to continue to be her partner.
". . . Tsubasa?"
"Huh?"
"Are you sure your okay?"
"Yeah, we should get going."
"Yeah!" Xuelian smiled. That radiant smile brings me both happiness, and conflicting.
We headed back and watched the remainder of the matches.
The next two days passed quickly, with a few interesting matches here and there.
Round two began early on day five.
