Chapter 309: Roll, and Reverse Role

"Tsubasa, what is holding you back?" Yuwanyx asked, with his eyed focused in on me.

I wasn't sure what to say or how to respond, truthfully I wasn't sure of what he was saying.

I glanced over at Xuelian, it looked like see was holding her own against Phenyone.

"Oh, now it makes sense."

"What are you talking about?!"

"Just a simple observation, and logical conclusion based on first hand experience."

"Get to the point."

I intentionally let up on the pressure behind our clash and move to the side, catching Yuwanyx off guard. He staggered forward as his balance was thrown off.

As he moved forward to catch himself from falling I spun around to swipe at him horizontally.

To my disbelief he simply rolled forward on his fall, returning to a standing position while tactically avoiding my attack.

Immediately he span on his foot, striking at me with his swords.

Our swords collided again. The crowd was ecstatic. They roared, and cheered as the fight continued.

"Well what I mean is, you remind me quite a bit of my wife before we married."
