Chapter 221: Mission Restart

I was in disbelief.

I quickly checked my «H.U.D.» and indeed my «Soul Points» went down from 273s to 272s.

However, the flame beside the number had not disappeared meaning that I hadn't lost the Soul protection.

"So, if we fail missions we lose [soul points]," Xuelian said aloud.

"Yeah, I guess that's how this event works."

After our failure to beat the mission we decided to fall back to a nearby [crystal spring] and discuss what to do next.

We had instantly concluded we needed to level up. We quickly leveled up from Level 1 to Level 7. Though we burned through most of our money.

The monsters we had fought during the Mission were levels 9-12, so we went around for a bit hunting to get to level 12.

A few hours later we approached the town again to attempt the mission again.

A prompt appeared this time asking us if we wanted to enter the «instanced» area.

We pressed yes and walked through the town gate.
