Arthorias recounted how a large group of players took to protesting Arthorias's and the other top player's alleged manipulation and desire to abuse their prestige to control the players.

According to Cyrus there was even rumors that Arthorias was Rin Maurus himself, or someone who worked to the creator to control the players for some unknown agenda.

Seeing everything that was coming together, how quickly it had gotten out of hand, and how quickly the situation was starting to fall into disorder, I could see how these rumors could spread fast.

I listened to Arthorias intently, trying to sense the intentions of this man.

"Normally I wouldn't care what a player says about me, or how they feel. However. In the past few days within these protesters close to twenty people have been «PK'ed» trying to get through the blockade.

At first it was a non-violent protest; preventing players from entering the outpost while trying to get voice their concerns, but then it devolved into a complete blockade. Eventually they began to take bribes, then tolls to let players past, then the prices kept increasing until players refused to pay, then it started to get violent."
